This is so great! Kudos to all involved. I have wondered for years what happend to everyone.

Jennifer, I had one of our investigators look for Sandy and he thinks she is now Sandy Roberts, living in Maysville, Georgia. Unfortunately, the contact information is not listed and that's a little too far to send him. If he's right and it is the same girl, her husband is Christopher Roberts. Maybe Amber will have some luck with her Dad.

I've asked them to look for Goble. That is a less common name so hopefully they can find something, especially since Wendy gave us the Asbury lead.

MAN!!! It's all coming together... WOO HOO!!! I'm gettin more ready by the day...

Carrie, I'm so glad we found you... I remember Me and you were some of the first ones on classmates.com a few years ago...

And that reminds me...anyone remember "floater"?

Jennifer, Mr. Rains was the librarian at Hokes Bluff Elem. till he retired( my mom was a Kindergarden teacher there), If ya'll would like to get in touch with him, let me know, I'm pretty sure my mom has his contact info.

.... or Jennifer gave us the Asbury lead. I read it too fast.

It's Sandy Roberts, married to Chris Roberts, in Southside AL. Jeff Goble was working @ Mitchell Grocery the last I heard but I'm sure that doesn't help much. That's all the valuable information I have at this time.

Scatch that- one more thing, Emily Payne Miller lives on Marlowe Dr in Albertville, married to Scott. I think that is it for now.

If BKO is correct and I would figure she is, then this is Minyard's info.

It is Brandy Kay right? How ya been?

This group should start a detective agency or something.

Hey Carl, I'm just sitting here remembering how in the 7th grade, you would use my hairspray to clean your basketball shoes while we had to ride the dreaded cheesewagon. With inflation, I figure you owe me at least $500. You're good for it right?

07/17/08 11:48 PM #72

Carl Cole

Would that have been my LA Gear hightops with one red shoelace and one white one?

I'll bring a bottle of aquanet to the reunion and we'll call it even.

Carl Allen Cole III you have an elephant's memory. I have upgraded hairspray since then, as I hope you have in shoes.

Nice. I feel like I just got called out by my grandmother. You even used the numerals. I intend on goofing off quite a bit tomorrow from work so I'll probably talk to you then. Hopefully you'll have a sudden onset of amnesia between now and then that will remove any memories of the little league park and the school bus. 'night.

In regards to teachers...My feelings won't be hurt if you have to lie to them and tell them I'm not coming to get them to come. I remember Mr. Amos always telling me that my name was brought up at faculty meetings and thinking it was cool. In hindsight that probably wasn't a good thing.

Carl - thanks for rounding up Sandy's address!

Brandy, welcome to the board! Now you have to post some pics for us on your profile - LOL!

Brian - I'm sure the teachers loved you more than you think - especially Mr. Amos. :) I do remember you guys picking on him, though!

07/18/08 03:27 PM #77

Lana Walker (Hamby)

As far as being picked on or picking on Mr. Amos, I should hold that title hands down!

07/18/08 03:53 PM #78

Carl Cole

You gave as good as you got!

You would give him that look to let him know you weren't having it and that was it. You were the only one that could shut him up. I liked the guy though, more because of scholars bowl than all that awful math stuff that I've never used since.

Here's one for you Carnes. Eddie Vance. He's principal at Ivalee. I ran into him while he was reffing a state playoff game last year. I could tell from the stands it was him and went down to talk to him after the game. I'm sure everyone has a Mr. Vance story.

Jenn, I left a voicemail for Jeremy Walker at his work. Maybe he'll respond.

Thanks, Carl!

You know, I don't know if it's old age or what, but I can't remember that much about our last years of school. When someone mentions something, I remember it then - like Lana's look of death to Mr. Amos, but as for day-to-day stuff, nada. LOL! Of course, though, I remember working every day at Dairy Queen after school - so maybe that's what filled my brain.

So, what's the final verdict - invite teachers like Mr. Amos, Mr. Vance, Mr. Ross, Ms. Strickland, Mr. Ashley, Mr. Rains, or no? And besides these, who would you like to see?

Sandy Minyard (Roberts)

Hello everyone, ya'll all sound so growed up. It's really good to hear everyone. I know I'm late in the game but I would like to see Baily.

This may just be a pipe dream... but I have this vision of Brian Carnes and Roger Igou challenging Jerry Brooks and Coach Hudson to a beer chugging contest. Losers receive head butts from the other two.

OMG!!! I know I was kinda off in my own little world back then, but I think I'd like to see that myself!

That is too funny.

If were all characters like this in person, then this reunion is going to be a blast

07/18/08 07:45 PM #83

Heather Mims (Lowe)

Clearly, I have been living in my own little world (not a shock I know). I have not seen many members of "the class of 93" since graduation. The web site is super! I can't wait to see you all at the reunion.

Heather, I see that 2 of your kids were close together... my 2 girls are a year and 2 weeks apart...Hence why I got "Neutered" LOL! But Man what a blessing.

BTW, anyone seen or heard from Gene Maddox? I always wondered what happened to him.

07/18/08 09:31 PM #86

Miranda Gilley (Yount)

Hey Heather! Remember "Need a Hug"?

Hey Jen, I put some various pics in the overnight box for you at work. It was about 6:30 tonight when I made it by. I hope you can use some of them, and I hope I don't embarrass too many people!

I remember someone pretending to hang someone out of Mrs Patterson classroom window, when we had a substitute. Hmmm who was that?
