ummm... I went for a "walk" on the roof outside of Ms. Patterson's room when we had a substitute. Then Harmie shut the window and locked me outside. The best part was the substitute was so scared she would get in trouble for allowing me to get out the window onto the roof that she didn't report any of it.

Was there ever anything better than walking into class and realizing we had a substitute?

WOW! You people have GREAT memories! Speaking of substitutes Wade and I see Nedra Watson at church ALOT! I think she was the most famous substitute ever. I think our class damaged her for life! It is great to see everyone so excited about talking again. I can't wait to see all of you again!

I'm up for the contest. Didn't think I'd ever be paired up with Roger but it does seem fitting. As for Ed Vance...I see him fairly often at the restaraunt. I've gotten to know his wife and one of his daughters-she worked at Applebee's at one time. He was tickled to see me cause now he can tell me some high school gossip that can only be heard fifteen years later. Ask me about it later. Hey Carrie, glad to see I'm not the only night owl.

Yeah, I want to hear the 15 yr gossip. The Wife is in Mobile with her Mom at a wedding so I'm reliving batchelor days... lying around on the couch watching sportscenter and playing on the internet at 2:30 in the morning.

Carnes, I'm remembering graduation trip, a 100 dollar bet on the beach, a funnel, the word "Bodacious" and you becoming a vapor trail when dude emptied a funnel in less than a second. Somewhere there is an unlucky red headed kid still trying to explain why he got beat up over a bet he didn't make.

Am I dreaming all of this? Is this still 1991? I was flipping channels and I swear I just heard some veejay say New Kids on the Block is here with their new #1 song. This wacky wayback machine must have a short in it.

New Kids on the Block is trying to make a comeback. I hope you didn't watch it. I think it is stupid. But they say there are women all over the country who were fans and are going nuts again. I wonder if Kerri Hubbard is in that group of fans! Carnes I am a night owl during the summer when I can be....sorry I didn't stay up later to chat with you all. I had a 3 year old in my lap insisting that she was going to stay up as long as I did. That cut my night short.

Sandy Minyard (Roberts)

Yes, I feel so bad Not that I had anything to do with it or anything

I remember y'all being VERY EXTREMELY mean to Miss Watson! But it was funny!

The only thing I remember from pep rallies were the homemade rattles we made in the 9th grade.

I also remember someone sticking a "kick me" sign on either Sandy or Brandy's butt in Mrs. Patterson's class and Brian kept kicking her until he got in trouble. I thought that was funny!!

Alisa Gaskin (Simms)

OMG!!! I can't keep up! You are all so funny! By the time Rosie and Lola will let me get on the computer there are 2 pages on the message forum:)

I also think I have high school memory loss...

I always say kids make you alittle crazy. You forget your stuff because you have to remember all of their stuff (where their favorite toy is)if you notice Carl remembers the most (NO KIDS)! But I LOVE my kids! Sorry
to single you out Carl but I have seen your name the most.

Alisa and Bridgett, I think you're right - when we have kids, I guess our brains fill up with the first walk, the first words, childbirth (that takes a CHUNK), who likes which foods and hates other foods, I could go on and on! I was feeling not a little bit old when I realized that I couldn't remember that much about high school. It's coming back, but it's very fuzzy.....

LOL!!

I do remember Mr. Bailey's class - oh, the hurting we put on that poor man! Hee hee hee...

07/19/08 11:01 PM #104

Daniel Krueger

I think my kids stole my brain...

Hey Bridgette!!! I haven't seen you since I bumped into you at Gadsden mall a couple of years ago...

Whaddya think, should we do a show choir thing for the reunion? (ducking for cover)LOL.
I don't think I could sing now if I tried... I havent in years.

07/19/08 11:09 PM #105

Bridgett Wester (Hilley)

I don't really sing much anymore, not outside of church, but I still love it. I don't think I want to try to sing and dance together (not in public).

I agree with all the MOM's out there! I have heard when you are pregnant, brain cells actually die!! I lost a lot of those brain cells - or is that selective remembering I have? I do remember a few: who out there remembers going down those scary dirt roads in Gadsden and Guntersville and someone with the initials of Wade Handley yelling "DO SOMETHING!!!!!" ?(I am laughing as I type this ;-) )

And for those Carlisle kids: do any of you remember the name of our extremely PMS PE teacher? We had to sit on our colored numbers almost every single PE class because she hated our class! Do any of you remember "rabbit, rabbit" on the first of each month? (hint: the libarian)
and, who could forget how much fun we had with our 6th grade skit?????

Ok, maybe my mind is coming back to me now!

07/19/08 11:21 PM #107

Bridgett Wester (Hilley)

Ms. Sanders always comes to mind first when I drive by the school. My mom and dad just built a new house and
when she moved she gave me all of my Carlisle pics, they are sooooooo funny.

07/19/08 11:47 PM #108

Miranda Gilley (Yount)

Bridgett, you should totally give those to Jen! This reunion is going to be so fun (I'll have to remember to bring some tissues to wipe the tears of laughter)!!!

07/19/08 11:58 PM #109

Bridgett Wester (Hilley)

Tissues - Top of the list. Now if the what to wear list was as easy as the what to bring list I would have it made.

It is Top Of the River, how fancy could that be . . Oh yeah, we all ate our Prom dinners there - maybe no one will show up in sequins or top hats!! haha

07/20/08 12:08 AM #111

Bridgett Wester (Hilley)

I'm very pro casual, that way we can relax and have a good time. I would hate to trip over my floor lengh formal (not that it fits anymore). But you know us girls,we have to make a good impression (that sounds funny coming from me, I'm a get up and go as is kind of girl).

07/20/08 12:12 AM #112

Miranda Gilley (Yount)

How funny would it be if we all wore our prom dresses!!!! Yeah, I might get mine over my head and that would be as far as it would go. OK - anyone reading this: WARNING, WARNING: I am just kidding, please don't show up in a skinny formal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
