You don't have to worry about me, it's hard to get Jason in anything but blue jeans, and I would hate to out dress my "date".

LOL! Like I can even get a formal - and there's NO WAY I would put one on anyway! Or, we can all fix our hair like we used to, with a BIG bottle of hairspray and our hair 5-6 inches higher than our foreheads! You know, I distinctly remember one of our teachers telling us that we would look back at our hairstyles and laugh and we thought he was a dork - look who's laughing now. LOL!

I think I can remember more from grade school than high school. I can't forget that 6th grade play - I was telling Katie about it the other day.... Brian Carnes was the mayor and Miranda, you and Susan Denney and Mandy Hudgins clogged during it. It was a hoot!!

I remember alot from Carlisle, but I think it's because there was only two classes, and less happened. But I think I liked our play where we were all animals better. We were young and so cute!

I saw Mr. Shockley today, and he still remembers who I am, from the 4th grade. And I see Mr. Amos alot, I have even taken the kids to a few birthday parties that he was at.

I remember - you're talking about the first grade play. I was Mother Rabbit, Brian Carnes was a rabbit, so was Kary Luken. LOL! I think Carrie Beth was Mother Goose or something like that. I wish my kids' school did plays - they were so much fun! Do you remember the square dancing for the 3rd grade play?

Miranda Gilley (Yount)

Oh Yes, "HeeHaw" vividly screams in my ear when I think of that play! " . . . we just aren't the gossiping type, so you'd better listen close the first time . . . "

:->

Yes Me and Kerri were squirrels. Did't we learn how to square dance in p.e.

You want to hear what a small world we live in . . . Kary Luken's baby sister graduated from Alabama with me. I never saw her, but my mom saw her name in the program (of about a three thousand)!!

Small world- did you notice how many people live in Boaz or very close to it. And very few left Alabama or stayed gone.

Daniel Krueger

Well some of us left and came back... and I was raised in T-town LOL...Boaz has become my permanant home.

and as for fitting into things... closest analagy I can come up with is my old Class A Uniform: I can't get the Jacket over my arms anymore, let alone around my belly lol.

Listening(reading?) to all of ya'll makes me realize just what I missed in school with all of ya'll. I didn't know how...um "distracted" I was.

Bridgette, do you remember dancing to O.P.P. at the hotel in Washington?

07/20/08 03:43 AM #123

Brian Carnes

yeah Carl, the guy would of had to catch me first to beat me up. he spilled 3/4 of the beer funneling and still expected me to pay. someone mentioned memory. I wish I could blame my loss on children. better hush on that subject. for those Carlisle kids, I saw Mrs. Geer yesterday at the restaraunt and bought her dinner. Wow, I heard Mr. Shockley's name. I feel I still owe him apologies. I had to carry a notepad home everyday for my parents to sign off on what mischief I had been into and it still didn't seem to slow me down.

Being a Whitesboro guy, my only Carlisle memory is us shooting fireworks at each other as we ran around on the roof of Carlisle school. I need to find the Mohawk pictures. I may need to make a trip to Whitesboro as I bet all that high school stuff is still at my Grandparents.

As a Whitesboro kid myself i seem to remember someone grabbing my pigtails and saying ya mule. I also remember Mrs. Sanders the Kindergarden teacher who busted my nose. Marty Jacobs taking up for me when she got too rough with me. Speaking of , where is Marty he was my best friend until i moved to Duck Springs

When Mrs Sanders convinced us there were little men or leprechauns or something and we were all looking for tiny footprints.

Bridgett I know what you mean about the kids. I have one with ADHD and The other with ocd and i'm A.D.D. Which explains alot!!!! So you see I really have no hope. Its hard to focus when shiny things destract you. hey look at that....

Please do. Right before I joined the military I had a flat right in front of his house and he said don't do it. Ahh those little pearls of wisdom we pass up.

Hind sight is always 20/20. At least mine is anyway!

No Daniel I don't remember that. But back in the day when I taught dance I worked with Mr. Bearden's & (Kathy's)danceline at his new school. That was an experience!

Jennifer - Those are some cute pics of your kids!

Sandy, its nice to know I'm not the only one who suffers from ADD. I...OOooo nice car... I'm sorry, what?

Seriously, don't ever let anyone talk you into taking Adderall...I could think so clearly when I was on it,but bad side effects when I came down.
Brian,my memory loss could be attributed to other things also(but most of that was after High school lol)

07/20/08 10:14 AM #133

Sandy Minyard (Roberts)

that's what i take. so far i'm just a little cranky sometimes don't tell me it will get worse. But I can actually finish things i start now. add makes you a great multitasker

07/20/08 10:41 AM #134

Daniel Krueger

That it does Sandy, my problem with it was i had no control over my temper when I came down, I would blow up at the kids and then go to the bedroom and cry because I didn't understand why was like that. It got so bad that Heather was ready to pack up and leave so I said no mas(It didn't help my psycologist would look at me like I was dumb when I told him of the side effects "never heard of that happening before") Lying bastard. I took my self off of it and quit going to him. But there are times I could use it's help, but without the problems.

Whew, got carried away there, sorry

Sandy Minyard (Roberts)

I was thinking Jerry Springer there for a minute. I hope things are going better for you now Daniel.

Oh yeah!! That was in 2004, so I've had time to adjust, repair, etc... Guess I react negatively to amphetamines lol.
Sorry BTW didn't mean to sound like a sob story, I pretty much have a humorus spin to all the rough times in my life(I wouldn't be sane if I didn't). What that experience did do for me though was to make me aware of when I was zoneing out and try to reel myself back to earth.
Here's a thought for you Jason: Imagine Dr. Phil talking to his wife as they prepare to have "marital bliss" LOL.
Leave that image in your head lol.BTW where are you being deployed to(if you can tell us)?
