Brian, you make me laugh with your memories of Carlisle - I do remember you being the trouble maker though - one of them anyway.

Anyone remember Michael Gargone? Who could forget him? I was in I think 5th grade with him (may have been 4th) and his desk was beside the teacher's - where it always was! And we had our Christmas party and his mom came to check him out and she asked him in front of the whole class why his desk was up there - the whole class burst out laughing 'cause if she only knew!!

Hey Bridgett!
I remember that play as a matter of fact I still have a few newspaper clippings of that. We were all so cute and sweet. I think at that time I had a crush on Don Shirley, I think we shared our first kiss together in the second grade.

The square dancing play was so fun. We were all little rednecks. Jeremy Walker was my partner. We had to be, we were the smallest two in the class.

For all of you who went to Carlisle Kindergarten. I seen Mrs. Barton...she still looks the same just shorter hair. I always thought she was so sweet.

For those Sardis years remember Mrs. Key.....I think we were all a little scared of her.

Yes, I remember Ms. Key! And yes, she was scary! She's some kind of administrator at Gadsden State now - I heard her on a radio commercial the other day.

I was scared of Coach Hudson! I would cringe now if I seen him.

Okay Tonya,
I was hoping that The New Kids on the Block would not get mentioned. ha ha I want everyone to know I am no longer a fan what so ever. I think I even had Alisa a fan for a while. I think Cindy Humphries topped me by far! When I got married, Jeff found a box of all those posters and pictures.....they got burned. He could not believe I had kept all that stuff. I was crazy!

The only New Kid on the Block for me now is my sweet little boy. I just think he is the greatest thing in the world.

Bridgett Wester (Hilley)

Hey Kerri
I have those newspaper clippings, we were some cute kids in those animal outfits.

What about those parties you had in your garage before you moved out of Rockledge? I think that's where we all taught each other how to slow dance.

Hunter and I missed seeing you and Judd Tuesday at the library.

Does anyone remember when we got Mrs. Key? About the time Coach Jack Left does anyone remember him?

Jennifer Smith (Oliver)

I remember very little about Coach Jack. Except that he was very weird....

I ran into Ms. Lutes at Walmart last year - she's exactly the same!

Anyone miss the old high school? I'm glad they got a new building, but I miss seeing the school where I walked the halls - I don't think anything is left of the old school! It's so sad - you would think they might have kept something.

Jennifer, I do, I was hoping to take my kids through it and say "I had such and such class here" etc...

Coach Jack. Worst. Basketball Coach. Ever.
All I remember from him as a science teacher was that he tried to teach evolution and Chris Kilgo (good gracious, I'm thinking about people I haven't thought of in over 15 years -Kilgo for crying out loud) basically went all William Jennings Bryan from the Scopes Monkey Trial on his @$$...

Su B., it looks like I'm going to have to spend this Friday night in T-town. You gotta spare couch? :)

Hey Jen, I think Gargone and myself set an elementary school record. I remember how excited I was to come into Mrs. Donaldson's class in sixth grade and see we were in the same class. It didn't register to her until she saw us together and she went to Mrs. Cartret's office and pretty much refused to have both of us in her class. She told me that I ended up in her class as the result of a coin toss. By the way...he's like the general manager for one of the biggest car dearlership's in Birmingham making big $$$$. go figure

Amber Yvette (Hallmark)

Tonya, I sooooo remember New Kids. I am ashamed to say that was the first concert we went to. Do you remember our neon green t-shirts we wore? I went to my mom and dad's Friday and found some pics I'm sending Jennifer. Some of them were of my sister and her friends "posing" in front of all our NKOTB posters in our bedroom. How sad is that? What's really sad is that Bridgette and I are talking about getting tickets to fly to LA and see them in concert!

The main thing I remember about Coach Jack is he always had a blue tongue and his socks looked like panty hose.

Brian, Do you still have D.O.G.? OK, I know that was probably a dumb blonde question, since it has been 15 years since we graduated. . . that would make him what; like, 20 yrs. old????? I still smile when I think of his name though!!

07/21/08 07:03 PM #153

Carl Cole

Oh man, speaking of first concerts... I get grief everytime I mention this, but, I think the group was Harmie, Carnes (complete with those baggy pajama looking pants), Jonathan Johnson and me and maybe a couple of other folks... to Boutwell Auditorium.... to see Information Society, who opened for Two in a Room, who opened for.......... Vanilla Ice. Too cold! Too Cold!!

Ah Good Grief. Somebody shoot me.

D.O.G. was riding in the cavalier with me as I followed Brian down those dirt roads to his house. I got cute and decided to try and pass him. Lose control, head on into the embankment, head hits windshield, cut in my left eyebrow, bleeding, I finally struggle out of my car and Carnes is walking down the hill and says...

"How's my dog?"

07/21/08 07:14 PM #155

Brian Carnes

hey, priorities

07/21/08 07:16 PM #156

hey, I went to see Hammer too! I looked like a grain of salt in a pepper shaker. It was like walking into a rayon factory.

"rayon silk and maybe even denim,
it really doesn't matter as long as your in 'em."

Ah man. Shoot me twice.

Amber we had a ball that night didnt we, I remember your mom took us to TGI Fridays to eat. I forgot about the neon green shirts but i do remember the shiny shoes, gosh where does time go,remember when we went to white water with Lucas's baseball team and poor Bridgett had a broke foot, she hobbled all over the waterpark:)

I remember Coach Jack and him saying negative grade all the time when someone was talking, he was a weirdo.
