I remember that Mr. Bailey made all the volleyball team join.

In my defense, I never claimed to play well.

This is so fun!! I am having trouble keeping up. You all do have good memories, although I do remember "need a hug" Miranda. I am going to have to dig through some old memories to try and find some pics.

Sandy Minyard (Roberts)

I miss V'ball. I've tried to play recently and although its still fun i find my body doesn't cooperate like it use to. Aren't we too young to start falling apart?

I know what you mean Sandy, I've got 7 bulged disks in my back, Plantar Facitis in my feet, I gotta go back to school before I end up in a wheelchair LOL.

Hey Heather,
Do you remember us being cheerleaders and going to Smokey Mountains in the back of my Daddy's truck. We got matching air brushed T shirts. I think I still have mine. I have got those pictures some where. We played Dirty Dancing on my pink jam box the entire way up there! We had soooo much fun!

I can't remember who all it was but one of us had the book A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, we would sneak in the ice room in the Home Ec. building and read it. I think it was Alisa, Su.B., You, and I. Can you remember?

Hey Daniel,
I talked to Jason Douglas a while back and told him about the reunion. I just don't know where he lives now. He always has to help me in the electronics dept. LOL

Hey Everybody! I saw Marty Jacobs tonight at football practice and I told him he was known as one of the missing! He said he would try to get his info. on here.

Kerri, thats a good deal... I just don't want anyone to miss out on this. If they chose not to come, so be it, but I at least want them to have a choice.
On that line...One of the guy's i'm in lodge with is Jamie Burns' cousin, so I'll see if he can get in touch with her.

Miranda Gilley (Yount)

Brandy - I do remember that night I spent the night. I also vividly remember playing Hi-Ho-Cherrio!!!!!!!!!! Did we know how to party or what????

Heather and SuB. - do you remember the Halloween we cut holes in our sheets and dressed up like ghosts to get candy?

Talk about matching outfits - I think Alisa and I have everyone beat - I loved that blue sweatshirt your mom made for us ;-) !

Hey Jen and Daniel,
Jaime Burns is now married to I think Wendy Henderson's brother...I think they call him Jabo or something like that. I don't know his real name. They may live in Duck Springs. She is a beautician in Boaz. She was with Jill Hallmark but she may have relocated. I know she is around.

Brad Tarvin, Matt Hayes, and I think J. Johnson... I will never forget the time I got up to get a test paper in Mr. Rain's room and I blacked out and fell in the floor. If there had been a rock close by I would have crawled under it. Of course you all laughed!!!!!

Jen...I saw Mandy Hudgins a while back and she had just had a baby. I think she is living right behind her Mother. Her husband my be Tim Cornelius but not 100% sure of that first name.

Thanks, Kerri - I sent invitations to all those you mentioned, but they haven't made it to the site yet. I'm getting new members everyday though, so maybe soon they'll drop by and we'll know if they plan on coming to the reunion or not. :)

You know you'll never live down the NKOTB thing, right? I can't think of NKOTB without thinking of you! I'll never forget one day in class hearing you say that one part of a song was "My Joey - I know his voice!" and wondering if a person could discern one singer from another by his voice, but yes, you can - I can hear a song on the radio and tell who is singing it. So, I guess you taught me something. Oh - and you were right, that part of that particular song was Joey singing.

Sandy, I still like to play v-ball, too, but I must admit, although I can still serve, I just can't play like I used to. :) Not that I was ever really good at it anyway.

Do you remember paper volleyball in music appreciation in Mr. Ford's class (I think it was Mr. Ford)?

Anyone in Mrs. Tate's AP Honors English class remember making her cry? Because we weren't listening or something like that? That woman had issues!

07/22/08 11:48 AM #179

Brandy Owens (Stanfield)

Do you remember Justin flipping Mr. Ford out of his desk chair in music appreciation class? Or Brad being late to Mrs. Tate's homeroom and Wesley yelling at him,"You're late Debo" and Brad told him to suck a @#*#. i thought she was going to explode. The things you remember...

Jennifer Smith (Oliver)

I do remember Mr. Ford falling out of his chair - I just knew he was going to strangle Justin!

Hey Carl - I just saw your post....For you, I always have a spare coach in T'Town! :-) I think you stayed on that same couch the night before my wedding...I don't know what I would have done without you and Alisa that weekend!! You even brought my pearls to the church.

Susan Bryant (Warner)

Oh my gosh Miranda....I do remember Wade Handley and "Do Something" on those 'ol "spookin" nights. How hilarious!

07/22/08 02:57 PM #183

Sandy Minyard (Roberts)

yes I remember paper v'ball was that not the most worthless class i learned absolutely nothing. Do you remember Mrs. Tates poem about cows giving birth? I never looked at a steak the same way again.

07/22/08 03:02 PM #184

Sandy Minyard (Roberts)

Brandy I remember you getting in a fight all the time with "What's his name?" The one who had a flatulance problem. The one who would say Its time to Clear the Air?

07/22/08 03:22 PM #185

Carl Cole

HAndley, do you remember SGA basketball? The greatest caption ever in a yearbook. "Wade Handley realizes basketball is sometimes a game of push and shove." or something like that.

6 years of basketball and I never got a technical, and I get thrown out of an SGA game. Classic.

Sandy up until last year I played in a volleyball league. I got into it when I went to Troy and we had a sand court in our backyard. If I had known how much fun it was back then I would have tried to start a boys team in high school. I would have played it instead of football.

Su, I'll call you later this week about that couch. I sooo remember not knowing what I was walking into the night before the wedding at Cozy's. The first person I saw was Alisa and she was like, "You've got to see Susan right now!" But it all worked out perfect.

Jason Douglas! Man, where is he. He was the real "fastest guy in the state" that we couldn't ever get to play football or run track.

Do you guys ever think about some of those folks that moved away before graduation? Gene Friedman (was he in our class) Chad Turner, (I always like that guy, he was hilarious), tall funny kid, JD or JT or something. I know he was a couple of years younger, but Carnes, whatever happened to Jason Campbell? I know he moved to Texas when we were sophomores or juniors. Terri Kilgo or Kilgro or Kilgore or something like that. The girl with the last name Duke. What was it Pam Duke or Tina Duke? Or Tina Goble, whatever happened to her?

I'm digging this website if you can't tell. I've got to dig out my annuals tonight. I think I'll wait til after the wife goes to sleep so she won't be reminded of what a dork she married! :)

Hey Carl--that sounds great. I will be here this weekend, so just give me a call. Actually, you won't have to take the couch, you can have a guest room :-) Perhaps we can even pay a little visit to Innisfree or Catch 22.....

07/22/08 06:33 PM #187

Daniel Krueger

Susan, I always liked Willhagans... But Innisfree had a great atmosphere. My buddy Aaron used to love going there.
