Carl, it's on the same street as 4th and 23rds, at the end of the street...I think it used to be "Southern Billiards"

Carrie Johnson (Handley)

Hey Carl....Wade refuses to text but he said it is a good thing you were faster than him and he never caught you. He said the best part was both of you cussing each other like dogs in front of Mr. Hubbard. Hey...I'm with you, there are days and I would love to cuss him. There are many days that I do. He is still the annoying person he has always been but life is NEVER DULL!!!!!!Oh....and I saw your question to Brian about Jason Campbell...believe it or not he was at AU when I as there. I think he was married. I saw him on a couple of different occasions. Small world!

Kerri..I defintely was sneaking around with you reading Jimmy Reardon. I think I had and maybe even still have every poster of River Phoenix ever made! Do you still have that water bottle from the NKOTB concert...I still can't believe that was my first concert:)

Miranda I don't even remember those sweatshirts!!! I do though have so many fond memories of riding around in your Le Baron:)

Hey Alisa! I just got your message you left on my cell phone. I hate we didn't get a chance to do lunch before you went home. I know you will be back and forth seeing your Mom so we will do it another time. When does school start backfor you? We start back the 7th. I will definitely see you at the reunion but if you come back to town let me know and maybe we can get together. Ella Kate and Reagan would love to play with your girls. Maybe you could come to my house for lunch and we could let the girls play. Or we could do lunch on our own... you can decide. Just let me know when you come back to town.

HAHA Carrie! I remember Wade doing the head down bull rush after me. I will say right now it was completely my fault, I just wasn't used to somebody playing that good of defense on me and it was frustrating. Completely my fault. I don't think we ever even talked about that over those many hours of playstation football did we Wade.

Okay, the wife and I just got back from a multi wine bottle event and I'm pulling out yearbooks. Not senior year either, 1990 yearbook and 1989 yearbook.

Angela Beard, Kenneth Bishop, Chad Blackwood, Chris Bowen, Shane Bowling, Lucinda Clontz, Arthur Fincher, Richard Gaskin, Jerry Gunnin, Alysia Hill, Tommy Ashley, Brandy Justice, Chris Kilgo, Becky Martin, Shane Pitts, Scott Smithers, Dean Thompson, Jimmy Tolleson, Michael Walker, Tammy Walker...Shannon Caine, Corey Clements, Robert Frederick, Gargone, David Howard, David Howard, Karen Rainey, Kellye Smith,

wow. anybody know where these folks went?

Best line in my 10th grade yearbook. "don't do anything I wouldn't do. and if you do, don't name it after me. SHANE"

Was that Mcgehee or Johnson.

Guys, I haven't laughed so hard in years. Go get your yearbooks. Girls, you used a lot of hairspray, huh.

Jennifer, what did, "You're the next Brett Chappell!" mean?? Was that a scholar's bowl reference? Or was there some thought I was losing my hair?

Oh wait, 10th grade annual... "Carl, you are a weird person, you walk funny, you're not funny, and you sure as hell can't carry a tune in a paper sack. But keep on singing. The world would be a worse place without you and without you singing. KELLYE" She got the first 4 exactly right.

Carl, I think Chris Kilgo transferred to Crossville. I was friends with a guy in college who knew him and was friends with him in high school. I think Richard Gaskin transferred to Crossville too. Somebody told me that Corey Clements was in our class up until our senior year but she quit that year. I don't know if that is true or not...just what I was told. Hey speaking of your funny walk, do you remember when I had to sneak around and get your jersey and imitate your strut in front of the entire school at a pep rally? That was fun. YOU WERE SO MAD! You had tried to keep me from getting that jersey b/c you knew what was going on. I think I had to get it from Miranda on "jersey day". Hey, whatever happened to the funny shoes you wore around during track season? I still remember you wearing those shoes while you were trying to coach me on triple jump. Good times!!!!!

Jennifer Smith (Oliver)

Thanks, Brandy!

Carl, I have no idea -- could possibly be a Scholar's Bowl reference, it's the only time I'd have been around Brett. :) Remember the Knowledge Bowl with the Auk (I think that's right) in the library?

07/23/08 10:20 AM #198

Jennifer Smith (Oliver)

Yeah, Chris Kilgo, Richard Gaskin, and Jimmy Tolleson all graduated from Crossville. Corey Clements is a nurse in Dr. Thornberry's office in Boaz.

Carrie, I remember that pep rally - we all thought it was hilarious - you had Carl's walk down pat!

07/23/08 10:25 AM #199

Brandy Owens (Stanfield)

Corey is a nurse at Dr. Thornbury's office, i.e. my ob-gyn, i.e. major embarassment for me.

The Great Auk! The Knowledge Master.

I remember the walk. That's one of the few pep rally's I remember.

Are you talking about he shoes that had the platforms on the front? We had a guy at Troy who was going through NFL combines and was trying to work on his speed and vertical leap so he asked to borrow them. He graduated and I never saw them again.

Bridgett Wester (Hilley)

Michael Walker is still in Boaz, he had a daughter in Hunter's class at First Baptist this past year.

Carl...The line was from Shane Johnson.

Michael Walker lives close to my Grandmother.
Roberts Fredrick was the clock guy right?

How crazy fun is this reunion going to be???? Do we have a noise ordinance to abide by in Top O'? ...(not that it ever stopped us before)

Alisa - I actually miss my little burgandy car! I have had convertible w/drawals since I sold my Jeep! (Whorton, aks your wife if she remembers having my Jeep doors and Lisa and I getting caught in a downpour w/ nothing to protect us but 1 umbrella! what a hoot!) I think the kids are getting big enough, they would be safe with a soft top!!! (HUMMMM. . .my birthday is coming up) lol.

Brandy Cline (Childress)

Hey guys! I'm kinda drawing a blank right now. No funny memories to share at the moment. But I did want to say "Hi!" to everybody. See you all soon!

Jennifer Smith (Oliver)

Brandy, we've been talking about that, too - I don't remember things until someone else brings it up - may be the moms in our bunch have replaced childhood memories will childrearing memories? IDK. :)

LOL! Brandy, though, here's one for you - remember skipping school with me and Judy and getting caught because Emily Wester turned us in??

07/23/08 03:52 PM #209

Brandy Cline (Childress)

I thought Carrie Williams turned us in. Anyway I never understood suspension as consequences for skipping school.

Hey Carl, my oldest son, Cole, always asks me if he was named after you. Do you remember my sister having to chaperone me on our senior trip? I stayed in sooooo much trouble our senior year my parents wouldn't let me go unless Bridgette went with me to keep an eye out. She was only 15!!!!!
