I remember Greg as a very creative guy and a talented grease monkey. How he went out was terrible.

Greg and I were high school sweet-hearts and soul mates. He made me feel like I belonged when I was a newcomer to Satellite: making me laugh, watching him skate, playing his new Nintendo, passing notes, gazing up at the stars at PAFB. He was my best friend. We were engaged to be married.
We both moved to Orlando - where he raced his 1967 Ford Ranchero at The Speedway. He also won awards for his car from HotRod Magazine. He did all of the mechanical work on it himself.
When the widow across the street from my parents needed her lawn mowed, Greg was never too tired, too hot, or too busy to do it for her.. that's the kind of guy he was.
He was such a ray of light: a talented artist, so happy, sincere, courageous, passionate, generous, funny, and fun to be around. I could always count on him to pick me up if I was down. My sister always said he spoiled me, and she was right.
Greg was a supportive, loving, and devoted fiance. He was my hero; a true blessing in my life.
I am a better person from knowing him so closely. He taught me to be more joyful, more understanding, more patient, more optimistic, and true, unconditional love. He is very alive in my thoughts, my acts of kindness and when I see someone happily laughing, I see him in them.
He passed away on his 27th birthday.
Such a shock and a terrible shame; As you can imagine, his family and I will never be fully over it.. we look forward to seeing him again.
We love you and miss you, Greg.
God Bless.

"For of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these: 'It might have been."
~John Greenleaf Whittier (1807-1892)

Greg and I dated for a short time in high school. I used to watch him skate and win competitions! I'll never forget a bunch of us getting into that black station wagon and sneaking around a grave yard during a full moon! I don't know what possessed us to do so. Greg snuck off and hid and as we passed a freshly dug grave, Greg popped out of thin air threw something at us and we all ran back to the car screaming our heads off! I think Hope Sutherland, Erin Blackwood, Kirsten Erikson, Gwen Burley and Laura Hardee were with us... too long ago to remember!

Greg was a sweet, kind, talented and funny guy and was a good friend.

I remember Greg more from elementary school. He is one of us that went to school together from kindergarten through graduation. I was very sad to hear the news of his passing. He obviously touched a lot of people during his life. God bless his family and all who loved Greg.

I knew Greg from elementary school through high school. He was so funny and so nice. Even though life took us into different directions, whenever we would run into eachother he always had time to say hello and catch up. I think of him often as I reflect on growing up in Sat. Bch.

Greg was great guy. I can remember him back to elementary school. He was taken too early and is greatly missed.
