Comments:
A month after graduation, I moved to Washington DC and have been here ever since. I majored in Elementary Eduation at Howard University. I also marched in "The Howard University Showtime Marching Band" for a year, but then joined the Bowling Team. We reached the regional sectional tournament in 1992 and 1993 (We were stuck in Buffalo, NY for a week and a half because of the snow). I've earned a BA in Elementary Education and a MSA (Education).
I have enjoyed my experiences while I have been here in DC. I am an elementary school classroom teacher. I've taught every grade from 1st through 6th except 4th. Working in Washington's school have been challenging but also rewarding.
My mom is doing well in retirement. I look forward to see everyone at the reunion.
