School Story:
I remember a certain band member (name will be withheld) pitching a fit when I told him that the Annual Staff misplaced a few of his pictures. They were found, of course, but boy did he make a scene!
I enjoyed the pep rallies and school functions (the few I attended) and just being around some of the colorful personalities. I remember Sabrina McClendon introduced me to romance novels. I remember FOODS class with Tonise and the guys. I also remember all my crushes on the upperclassmen (and 1 underclassman). I remember being EXTREMELY nervous while making an announcement at a school assembly and looking at Joey Kearse motioning me to calm down and take it slow. I remember learning to drive a Jenkins High and my 1st speeding ticket. My dad helped me to pay for it and my mother didn't know about it until a few years ago.
I also remember the music from the 80's. George Michael (Wham!), Falco, Eurythmics, Run-DMC, Flock of Seagulls, Cyndi Lauper, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Depeche Mode, Men at Work, etc... I fell in love with music in the 80's and anytime I hear a song from my era, I am ecstatic. I have NEVER attended a concert because I wanted George Michael to be my first. Well, after 25 years, my dream is coming true. I get to see him in July!!
