I've been truly blessed in my endeavors in life, during & since high school. I count it as a blessing for me to be in a position to be in attendance to this joyous occasion. God has kept me throughout it all. Some may know me as "T that party animal", or said, "boy that boy can drink/ smoke/.....", now I party w/ and for my savior. I believe that I had to go through that phase in life in order to be a testimony to others on his mercy. He did it for me, he can do it for you. I most say that I was on a fast track to hell with the womanizing, parting, drugs, lies, and the list goes on and on. But my life now couldn't be any better with him guiding me. Of course I go through, but it only takes me one second to know that I'll make it. Ever since I got saved, I marvel over the blessings that he has and continues to bestow on others as well as myself. I can go on for days on this subject, I'll table this for when I see you all.
My high school days were the greatest. Those days really have molded me into the individual I am today. It was fulfilled with several of the trials & tribulations that I've faced every since high school, leading up to the present. Of course if I had it to do all over again, I would change allot of my discussions that I made, but had I not made those wrong decisions; it wouldnt have been a learning experience. I know several can concur with that statement. But all in all, whether I (we) want to admit it or not, it was for our betterment as men & women. As I roll back into my mental rolodex of my high school days, I see a since of pride that we took in going to "The FOREST" especially for us that were into programs to where as we were looked at outside of campus to represent the whole body ( the Knights). Not to knock those that weren't into sports, the band, cheering or any type of special academics. To this day, whether or not you all know, we (the class of 88') are known in the SAV. We come up in several different arenas of conversations. Sometimes I indulge in the conversation and sometimes I sit back and lend an ear to it. The conversation goes from our sports (from basketball, football, softball & baseball, tennis), to our cheerleaders, chatelaines (I may have spelled that wrong, but you know), to the band, to our academics, to our fine ladies, to our handsome guys (couldn't leave out the fellas), to our dancers ("Supreme Preppers", "The Fresh Party Rockers"), to the mighty Green & White. Let's face it, we were & are the bomb. I truly look forward to seeing you all. This will most definitely be a memorable event in our lives for years to come. Be blessed!!! See you all soon.
