Bible Verse of the Day (King James Version):

ANNOUNCEMENTS

STATISTICS DON'T LIE!!!
How to stay safe in the World today!
Where IS the Safest Place?

1. Avoid riding in automobiles
because they are responsible for
20% of all fatal accidents.

2. Do not stay home because
17% of all accidents occur in the home.

3. Avoid walking on streets or sidewalks
because 14% of all accidents
occur to pedestrians.

4. Avoid traveling by air, rail, or water
because 16% of all accidents involve
these forms of transportation.

5. Of the remaining 33%,
32% of all deaths occur in hospitals.
So, above all else, avoid hospitals.

But...

You will be pleased to learn that only .001%
of all deaths occur in worship services in church,
and these are usually related to previous physical
disorders. Therefore, logic tells us that the safest
place for you to be at any given point in time is at
church
!

And . . . Bible study is safe, too!
The percentage of deaths
during Bible study is even less.

So,
attend church,
and read your Bible.
IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE!

Grace to Endure

Matthew 24:13, NKJV: But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

Only God knew and understood the horrible things mankind would be exposed to in the end times. He revealed it to Jesus who spent a great deal of time sharing it with His body (Mark 24:1-51).

The Lord is not asking us to endure in order to see how much we can put up with. He's teaching us the importance of being faithful to the end, which will guarantee our total victory over every enemy force.

There are a number of definitions for the word endure, but the one which explains the word in this verse means to "hold one's ground in conflict, bear up against adversity, hold out under stress, stand firm, persevere under pressure, and wait calmly and courageously."

It is active energetic resistance to defeat, not patience or passive resignation to fate, that allows calm and brave endurance. The only way I know to walk through resistance is with prayer and confession of God's promises. We need to learn to rejoice, because it's a part of the precursor of the end times. During life's difficulties, we as believers are to give more attention to spreading the gospel.

Enduring is more than working on our testimony. It is accepting God's grace to further demonstrate that Jesus has already overcome the devil, and we believe and confess it for all the world to see.

 Pardon Our Dust

Construction has begun on our Membership Directory/Website!  Over the next few weeks, photos will be taken of our members and uploaded here.  At that time, everyone will be encouraged to create a profile telling your church family more about you.  Share as much or as little as you like.  Your data is secure and will be used for no other purpose than communicating with your Church Family.  If you share your telephone number, this site can become our own telephone directory!  Feel free to post family photos on your profile, post announcements and forum comments.  Have fun!

Also, be aware of the following settings located at the bottom of your “Edit Profile” screen.  These features allow you to control who sees certain information on your profile. With the Profile Visibility box checked and the Contact Details box unchecked, you will have the greatest level of privacy.

Profile Visibility:

Block the general public and search engines from accessing your Profile details. Note: Checking this option allows only fellow Members participating in this site to view your Profile details. Leaving this box unchecked will allow the public to view your Profile details.

Contact Details:

Allow Members to see my address and phone number (this information is hidden from your fellow Members unless you check this box).

We recommend checking both boxes.  This gives your Church Family access to your address and telephone number, but not the general public or search engines.
