Oh Dawn! Sure, I was there. I was simply backstage nursing our illegitimate children...
Here's the deal JBJ lovers: He (Jon) has aged better (in your minds) because: A) in the 80's you couldn't really see his face, due to his hairdo (which IS much improved now {Dawn, Jon's dad is a barber too! Ironic, eh?}) B) he'll always look twelve and a half because he is only five foot and one centimeter and shrinking by the year, and finally C)BECAUSE JBJ IS 47, AND, ARE YOU READY? RICK IS 59 AND A HALF!!!! See, no contest. Picture your dad, or my dad, or anyone's dad. Now picture Rick, present day. Yeah, that's what I thought! Oh, and my obsession with Rick makes my husband crazy! He seriously thinks it may be why I dated Griesbach; he sees a resemblance. I say,"No dice" to that one.

For some reason, this space will not delete, sorry. I wish I could find a good JBJ photo to fill it with, but I'm at a loss. I should add though, that I have Jon Bon on my play list too.

BON JOVI IS AT SUMMERFEST AT THE END OF JUNE....ANYONE UP FOR IT!!!1

Dawn Grimm (Pachniak)

Exactly Tracy, our dads? I do like Rick, but Jon is much closer to our age. His smile is so perfect it's like a "Shot Through the Heart"!! Amy, I would LOVE to "Runway" and "Make a Memory" seeing Bon Jovi at Summerfest. But we usually have major sports things going on at the end of June, and I might be "Living in Sin" if I miss them. Don't count me out completely though. "Who Says You Can't Go Home" to Wisconsin anyway? Tracy, the Kev look-a-like with Rick, yeah- I have to agree, just don't see it. Maybe hair color and that's it!

Nice job Dawn!:) Silly girl! JBJ... I'd love to go too, but need a specific date, as we have a vacation planned. The last time I went to Summerfest, I saw Loren Klemp. He walked up to me and said, "Hey! I heard you were dead!" Someone told me you were beat up and died during college after a terrible bar fight." Hmmmm...
Oh, and Dawn, your dad IS cute!!!! I always will remember him and your mom bustin' a move at Tammy's wedding. I almost peed!

John, that seems to be the typical story when newbies try to talk smack about eating hot food. They learn real fast. Thanks for the vote of confidence on the del. service.
Laura, don't be afraid of the D.O.A., everybody needs to hallucinate off of hot peppers at least once in their life.
Dawn, Hi, how are you doing? I can't believe you got in on this hot guy thing. And now it's getting creepy with dads being brought into the conversation. I thought Robb's crush on Smurffette was weird.
Tracy, illegitimate children? Dating Griesbach? Man, I wish I could live in your shoes for a day.

Tracy Dickfoss (Reynolds)

Hey Trav. No more dads, promise. And no illegitimates either, just a dream... And, no Griesbach either, that's was many, many moons ago. He's currently quite occupied, as I'm sure you well know. Walking in my shoes is currently a bore.
Question: Do you see Chad Chavez these days? I know he is a Larry's patron, or was, the last time I was able to hook up with him. He and Bill Dickfoss (You know him, right?) run into each other from time to time, and I'd like to get a hold of Chavez. Chad and Bill know each other because I used to live above Bill about a decade ago, and Charlie Bruette used to live there too, so we all hung out. Anyway, I'd like to "find" Chad again...

So when I come home for the reunion...Is Blue Harbor worth it or not? I've heard different things...Kids are 3 and 6. Any other suggestions? My kids are way too unruley to stay anywhere that isn't extremely kid freindly.

Hey Tracy, Yeah I see Chavez occasionally. He kind of was told not to come into Larry's anymore unless Larry or I are working. (a bottle of vodka and Chavez mixed can be volatile) Some bad stuff went down with him at Larry's awhile back. And Charlie I actually see quite often at the coffeeshop. Next time I see him I'll say "hi" to him for you. Chad's # is 946-3096 (if it's still in service, it's been awhile since I've called him) I bet he would freak if you called him. And thanks for cleaning up the forum, now I can feel normal again.

Brenda-
My family spent a few days at Blue Harbor and we really enjoyed it - we had a beautiful suite, very kid friendly and the kids loved the waterpark but it is expensive. I should add that we lived on the water in Rhinelander for 10 years so the kids are always excited when they get to swim anywhere where the fish aren't nibbling their toes and they can see the bottom! On the other hand, my brother hated it but he doesn't have kids (because you know that somewhere, some child just pee'ed) Everyone remember the huge coal pile?? Times have changed!!

Brenda...Blue Harbor is very nice....but can be pricey. We've stayed there a few times...a few poor experiences...but a few good ones too. just like any other place. Another option...I've never stayed at the Holiday Inn on I43...but they are putting on a huge addition. I believe they have a pool. I wouldn't advise staying at the Fountain Park hotel/motel thing...I think they rent by the hour...or month...pretty scary area at night.

Amy up so early? I see this page jumped the gun with day light savings time

Brenda - Sleep Inn by County Road V by the old Wicks Lumber is very kid friendly - much much smaller then Blue Harbor but the cost is good - a group of families and all our kids stayed there for New Years and had a blast. Just an idea.

Thanks you guys! Good to have options! In the past I would have camped out at my parents, but they now live in CO!...Don't think the Hmong family who bought their house would appreciate me invading....but I'm tempted!

Wow~ I just read 4 pages of stuff and most of it is about Rick Springfield, which I wish I would have kept the life sized poster I had on the back of my bedroom door... How is everyone? I am really looking forward to the reunion. I can't believe how fast the past 10 years have flown by. I am on the planning committee for the reunion and it's been great getting together with the other girls. It is great to see everyones pictures and catch up with everyone thru this website. I read the part of inviting teachers to the reunion. That sounds good~ I actually ran into Mr. Bulkow at Trilling last week. Hope to see everyone in June! Take Care!

Brenda,

I think you'd like Blue Harbor. The suites even have bunk beds in them for the kids. My family enjoyed it. Hopefully you'll find somewhere that will make all parties happy.

I vote for JBJ as the best aged man! Hey, back in the day George Michaels was pretty cute too! Just had to add that, sorry Trav.

Hey Brenda! I had to fight for my man, didn't I? :) TOO FUNNY! I was reading that and it made me feel like a real bad ass..NOT! Travis, I am sure Kris was really impressed with that! :)

Brenda Feudner (Zdanowicz)

You're still a bad ass Stac...I'm just not afraid of you anymore!

Laura Stoelb (Quasius)

Brenda, even if you don't stay at Blue Harbor you can always go to the water park with the kids. This way you can check it out for next time if you choose not to stay there this time. We take Scott's son there quite a bit and he loves it. I can't remember what the cost is for hanging out at the water park tho. I'm sure you can look it up online.

Dawn Grimm (Pachniak)

Hi Travis! I am doing well, thanks. It sounds like you are too! I could not resist getting in on that whole thing, what can I say? The last time I seen you was at that coffee house on MI. ave. We all had our kids there to listen to Judy, was it? How many years ago was that? If I am not mistaken Carla W. was there as well. It is too bad that place could not make it. It seemed pretty popular the times I was there.

Hey Dawn, How are you?! It's been a VERY long time! How's Scott? Will you guys be at the reunion?

Jeff....I'm getting old...and can't sleep...so pretty much on a daily basis...i'm up at the crack of dawn...tossing and turning. Probably going through menopause...after all these kids...i'm going down the tubes early. Trav...I'm trying to change from hot guys from the 80s to periods and menopause. You gotta love us!!!
