Jodi Palm (Merrifield)

I've been trying to get a hold of Scott as we speak, I've left him a couple of messages to check out the site. I did talk to his mom a couple of weeks ago and he is still in the area and doing great...can't wait until he comes aboard....He used to be one crazy guy!! A ton of fun!!

Doby is over again. He just won't leave. Could one of you please, please, please invite him over for the day. He could really use a friend.

My husband is useless when he comes over. All they do is drink and talk about the videos & tapes they made of everyone...

Anyone remember this tune.....
Who's the fattest man in town?...... ......
Who's so fat he can't sit down? ...... ......
Who eats everthing that ain't nailed down? ...... ......

Doby used to hide a tape recorder in his bathroom and tape all of the conversations the girls would have at his parties and play them back later. This was heard on one of those tapes and he will never be able to live it down. I love you, my little friend.

(I bet you all are wondering what was said!!) (I think Doby still has all those tapes......)

Hide a tape recorder.....What the fck. Record streaming sounds of urine and play them back later....?

Stacy, you may just have to call the Police. Or move... This is part of the reason I didn't move back to Michigan. Just kidding......?? maybe.

Hey Stacy!

I don't know if you should have posted that thing about the bathroom tapes...its really creepy. I am glad that I never went to any of his parties, at least I hope I didn't go to any of them...

Stacy Kearis (Cerget)

Tracy,

They were not video tapes, just tape recorder. Remember, we were not that high tech back then. Girls would go to the bathroom to talk about all kinds of things. No worries...If I remeber correctly it was just high school chat about who was sleeping and cheating on who....crap. I just find it funny that he did it.

Doby-

Sorry I missed your call yesterday. I had my phone on mute and forgot to check my messages. I will get in touch with you later this week. Maybe we can meet up at Dooley's (hall road) for drinks Thursday or Friday. I am sure Sienko will come along. Later.

Ed

Sorry Dave, I still think its creepy. I do have to admit that it would be funny to have tapes of things that I talked about back when life was a little simpler.

Dino Zoyes

Tracy-What do you mean? Life's not simple??

10/06/08 12:58 PM #237

Tracy Murphy (Jenkins)

When I see life through the eyes of my girls, its simple. When I watch the stocks crash again today...not so much.

Ed, its all good about the phone call. This week I will be in Atlanta for business. I will not be back until Friday. Maybe next week we can all hook up.

Tracy,
The tape recorder wasnt hidden it was left right on the countertop. The song that Stacy is referring to was when Eric Gnacke was in the bathroom singing. We played it back for the entire party over the stereo. If memory severs me correct I believe u were at one of my parties? I believe it was the night that the cops showed up and everyone ran for their lives. Talk about simplier times, can you imagen what would happen now a days? Shit you probably end up in jail.

Is the 25th still a go at Gus's? I have not seen kevin on here, and was wondering if he is Ok with us going there? I am in the process of scheduling a babysitter.

Dawn, I couldn't pass up the remark. No, I haven't spoke to Lori since Michigan State.

Ken,

I talked to his girl and he is aware of the event. He has set aside a room for us at 7pm. We are sitting at about 35 people right now. Apprently, he does not go on the computer much but she will get after him. The girl I talked to over there was Chris Zuccaro's wife. (I cannot remember her name...the memory goes first!!) She is really nice and can't wait to meet us all. She is going to make sure Zuccaro comes too. She already knew about the website. Maybe Zuccaro is watching like a Voyeur and not talking. Typical man.

Doby,

Thanks for the pizza last night....Yes, all.... Doby was over for 8 hours yesterday. He broke his record from last week. He used the Lions as an excuse. p.s. We are in need of another 1/2 gallon of Captains as the two of you polished it off yesterday.

We also got through to Gnacke and finally got him on the site as well. Hi Eric!!! Posts some pictures so we can see how you look these days!!!

Thanks Stacy and Dave for giving me the creeps ;-) and for making me remember another memory that I haven't thought of in years.

Speaking of Dave's house, where was that "Devil" house located? Jenny Hill and I were being stupid a few months ago when she was here to visit and we drove around trying to find it. We weren't sure which street it was in the Doby/Terenzi/Cerget neighborhood.

Also, does anyone remember that party in the summer going into our Sophomore year that was at the end of a subdivision in the Malow district? There were a million kids there and the police came, we all ran in the mud and the police drove most of us home but they made us put our shoes in the trunk before we got in their car. I think I went there with Windsor, Phipps and Blakely? I think Loretta was driven home in our group too. Its a very foggy memory but I remember the craziness that ensued that day. Who's party was that? Where was it?

This website has been like opening a vault that has been closed for eons. I haven't thought of any of these memories and people in years and all of a sudden I am remembering friendships that I have lost and funny memories that we all experienced together. Anyway, thanks again for putting this all together.

Hey Ken,

I just saw your picture. You look almost the same as high school and it looks like your doing really good. Look forward to seeing you at the party next year.

Ken,

If money is an issue, I think that Hood might be able to get you some reduced rates on dental work...

Lynnette Frantz (Short)

Traci- I don't remember whose party that was but my mom was one of the people who drove a ton of us home in herZ28 Camaro. She made us all put our shoes in the trunk too. I also remember that devil house but I can't remember where exactly it is. I would have to drive around that area and look for it too!!

Kenneth McLain

The devils house was in Doby's sub. You turned to the right once that main street ended, and it was at the end on the right. I remember trying to sneak up there with Youngblood and these 2 dogs chased us.

I remember that party at Doby's house, 'cause I was driving and got pinned in. The cops gave us an option call my folks or haul us in and inpound the car. Well we chose not to have the record (plus I couldn't loose that sweet 1984 White Bonivelle with the baby blue interior) so we called my dad. I think it was the first time I ever heard him cuss as he pulled up and we were dumping out the beers in the headlights of the cop car. Oh Lord, please don't let my kids follow in my footsteps!! But if they do I know what signs to look for . . . :)

McLain . . . I can't believe you still have that same hat.
