I saw the blog and it is amazing to me that any one can retain that much stuff, Im glad he did because it brings up old memories! Still Standing i used to watch it and just found it on some satelite channel? It is so funny its about a family were the parents are like the type who dont want to grow up and let there kids know it! To me its funny as, you know, but i have a sick sense of humor! LOL well im off to jamestown!

I watch 2 and .5 men, but have never stuck around.I'll try it though. Way back when, Barry Benning was the 1st of my friends to get a super 8 camera. We took a solved cube and started rearranging it. Then we reversed the film so it looked like I solved it in just a few seconds. I just recently caught a Mythbusters where they do something similar. We were so ahead of our time. Chuck do you remember this footage?

I don't remember that video, but I do remember the Rubics Cube. It made a comeback after that Will Smith movie. High School kids were going nuts trying to solve it. I can attest as an eye-witness that the current generation stinks with the Rubics Cube. They also stink with Break Dancing. Of course, I couldn't do either...

Speaking of Break Dancing...Anybody remember the 1984-1985 SHS Break Dancing Competition?

Justin James (1986)

this generation plays a mean video game though. my kids kick my butt on every thing! LOL

Chuck Schwartz (1985)

Yeah...you don't want to HALO with anyone under the age of 25...

Justin James (1986)

I dont remember it but i know alot of kids were trying to do it, it was the cool thing to do! but its funny to think about a bunch of rednecks trying to break dance!

Chuck Schwartz (1985)

I still remember the participants.

STORY TIME, hopefully its as funny like this as it is telling the story in person! when we were first married we lived in Pensacola Fl. we had a dog and cat the dog was BEAR BRYANT and the Cat a yellow tabby was TIGGER, we had gone out with friends drinking with Lincoln $5 dollars and drink untill midnight, you can pound alot of alcohol in a few hours but any way we were tore up from the floor up, stupid drunk! finally got home and made it too the waterbed, well sometime through the morning i woke up freezing and soaking wet around my Butt! so i get up and the whole bed is wet in the area i was laying, still drunk and hung over i go to sleep in the floor thinking i had went to the little boys room in my sleep? not until that afternoon did i find out the truth, at some point Tigger had crawled up under me (why a cat would do that i dont know) with me being passed out? well when it was time for him to leave he couldnt so he dug in and punctured the bed and guess where the water went? straight to the low point my butt! Moral to the story, a cat, alcohol and waterbed do not go together! Even today its funny to think about, thinking you wet the bed as a young man and trying to figure out how you would explain it to your new wife!

Justin, That story makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck!

Justin James (1986)

Chuck, i dont know if that means it was funny or scary! LOL

From the 1986 Grant County Talent Show "official" program of contestants, I present to you... Breakdancers: I have the '87 talent show on video. I MIGHT have this '86 show on tape as well. You can bet your boombox that I'm gonna look tonight when I get home! If I have it, we'll be head-spinnin' & moon walkin' by end of week. Guaranteed!

12/10/08 08:51 PM #1065

Justin James (1986)

Aaron again you show you are "THE MAN" whoooooooooo!

12/10/08 09:47 PM #1066

Stacy Cunningham (Gilbert) (1989)

AARON....Oh my gosh! Okay so remember how I said that you were the man...I'm not denying that....but seriously...your wife is one heckuva girl to put up with the mounds of memorabilia that came along with you into the marraige!!!

12/10/08 10:13 PM #1067

Chuck Schwartz (1985)

Justin-It makes me cringe to think of what my wife would do if she woke up in a puddle. If she even remotely suspected me...it would be to the dog kennel immediately! Or maybe the catbox...
Wow! Aaron...serious superpowers! If you have tape of this stuff we will be sending you a cape. I also wonder where you keep all this stuff. All my "cool" stuff got banished to the basement. Bet you a million that "Freakazoid" is on that tape. Gonna dust off the parachute pants and look for some cardboard.

12/10/08 11:35 PM #1068

Jamie Gartman (1989)

Aaron, I'd almost pay good money to see The Rock You Crew. Almost.

12/10/08 11:41 PM #1069

Adria Moore (Norton) (1986)

Aaron, was 1986 the year you played for me in the Talent Show? I know I have that on tape.

Mark Avant (1985)

I used to torment Jason horribly about the whole electric boogaloo thing. I think there were tears. I may have worn parachute pants, but I swear: Angus Young as my witness, they never touched cardboard. And Freakazoid never touched my
6x9 Pioneers.

I also like the variety of dance types. And Jeremy Hignight's father had a role to play in the Midget Market chronicles.
