Thanks, Justin! I'll sure try. Little Rock has much more traffic than I'm used to. : )

Liked that vid, Aaron. *chuckle*

Yeah Mark, Summit County is a rad place. I live to go to that place. We spend alot of time up there in the Summer and Winter. You have Breck., Keystone, Dillon and Frisco and they are all cool mountain towns. We go up there in the Summer and we run around Lake Dillon. It is awesome! Winters are crowded but fun. Most people that come up there are out to have a good time. Sounds like everyone down South has warm weather. I miss that about the South, but when I look out my windows and see Pikes Peak I love that to. We are not super avid skiers but we can hold our own. I have only been skiiing since 1990. I can ski advanced blues. My wife can ski blacks! She enjoys it because she can totally destroy me on the slopes! She is right here beside me now :) so she is smiling, silently gloating! What can a southern boy do? Reminds me of the song "A Country Boy Can Survive"!

" Called Crane technique...if done right no can defense!"

We ski here primarily on crushed ice. They call it manufactured snow, but it's not very snowlike. And if your
wife upsets you be sure and don't spit some Beechnut in her eye.

Caught that! "I'd like to spit some Beechnut in that dude's eye...a countryboy can survive..." What is funny is that I never, ever listened to country music personally, but being from Sheridan I know lyrics, artists, etc...my wife thinks it is funny that I know so much country music because I don't really own much. It just comes with the territory and sometimes when I hear a familiar song it reminds me of Sheridan. I am still trying to figure out the Youtube thing. Not much luck with this technologically challenged dude!

Hey, what do you know it worked! Sorry not a Christmas song. The dude with the blonde hair has an impressive 'do. Can anyone name the movie? We get plenty of snow here. A few years back we had a drought, but not lately. Two years ago we had several blizzards and we were snowed in for days. Back in 1997 I had snow that completely covered my car and drifts that went up to my roof. But I live on the front range at about 6200 ft. We don't get tons of snow in Colorado Springs, but the resorts are getting quite a bit of powder this season. Still a lot more than Arkansas or Virginia and especially Alabama!

It's amazing how that song epitomizes the sound of the times yet still holds up as a great song. It was definitely on my "makeout mix tape" I kept in my car for those special moments.
The only movie I can remember it being in was Valley Girl. It also was in a Burger King ad in the 90's i believe.

Steve-would love to hear your band cover that song! Becky we really love Colorado Springs to. Your daughter picked a great school in a great location. You get the CU education without being in Boulder! LOL Justin my wife plays the grocery game so when the blizzards hit we are set! Although you get some warning so you run down to the store and stock up before it hits. Having only 3-4 blizzards in the past 10 years isn't that bad I guess. Hurricanes scare me! How has Mobile held up over the last 4-6 hurricanes (I lost count!) LOL

Stacy Cunningham (Gilbert) (1989)

Would love to hear the cover also, Steve! I love this song. I too have it on a "mix"! Not a make out mix though Mark...let me guess a little James Taylor too?
Is a band called "Mr. Happy" still in the LR area? They used to come down from time to time..they were a pretty good cover band. I think I saw them at Shorty Small's too once!

Richard - we've passed that version of "Holy Night" around our office each year - funny stuff. I'm not sure if it's true, but we had heard that it was a (serious) demo tape that someone sent in to a record company.

You guys be sure and listen to every bit of the song, it's gets better - I mean, worse - you know what I mean. Just before the 3 minute mark - watch out!

12/21/08 04:17 PM #1341

Richard Wade (1989)

Ya it was supposed to be a serious audition tape or so I heard! lol Southpark version of Cartman is better or should I say worse! lol Now just need Rosanne Barr to do a version!!

I am always amazed at the "run" on milk and bread when there is a threat of a big snow. Everything else in the grocery is untouched... In Indiana it is rare for the roads to be bad for more than a day or two because we have snow plows extraordinaire, but for some odd reason, people think they are going to run out of bread and milk - - I sometimes wonder....do they even USE bread and milk??? What would happen if they ran out of bread and milk for a day or two...... I ponder that often... :)

Enjoy your 60 degree day, Justin - it FINALLY made its way to 15 this afternoon (was a balmy 11 at 12:30)... Prayin for a 40 degree heat wave...

Richard, I was quaking as I pushed the play button. LOL! Someone get a gun and PLEASE, PLEASE put that dying cat out of its misery!!! That was GREAT!!!

"Melt With You"...I'm drawing a complete blank on what movie that was...but it is a GREAT song. Now I'm gonna have to go google it and find out!

Did someone say Eric Cartman?

You have to click popout player to hear it. Swiss Colony Beef Log has one cuss word in it, so beware.
