David Fort

I remember they banned any clothing that had to do with beer and the like. They probably wear reefer shirts now.

Vicki Ausbrooks (Fletcher)

C'mon, David...comb out the gel and start growing your mullet NOW! I'll throw some money into that pot.

(Sorry for the drive-by on your forum, you guys...but ya'll are TOO FUNNY!!! Very entertaining!)

Peace from the class of 88!

10/17/08 04:32 PM #225

Stacy Cunningham (Gilbert)

I am all for sporting some big hair! And David...I "double dog dared" you....that should've been enough. I told David that his wife might shoot us all on site if she had to LIVE with this mullet....we would all just get to show up at the reunion and laugh!
And don't HATE on the Coca-Cola shirts...Mandy Jester and I looked super cool in our Coca-Cola shirts when we were on Catchin' the Wave at Wild River Country!! :-)

Jamie Gartman

Ok, David, here's the deal. You grow the mullet and I'll wear the all-white tux with the tails.

Mike, I tight rolled too! and man were those Guess jeans tight. It's a wonder any of us guys have been able to produce children.

Jimbo, thanks for the love. I did look sexy, if you think needing a shave and a diet is sexy.

Gotta run, on my way to Homecoming, hope to see you there.

Robert Welch

Jimbo, I actually do know where to find a rack and an iron maiden. I have a friend who manages the largest freak show/ side show in country. Why is it that doesn't sound at all surprising?

10/17/08 07:05 PM #228

Jimbo Weser

Yeah Chris we were in your neck of the woods. Secret Service was trying to find a guy who lived in "downtown". He ran from them and the SS called us. It was about 100 degrees, nice!!!! After about 5 hours, the dude came strolling back up to his house and we got him (not the sharpest knife, you know).

Shelly and LaShawn you read it, Robert has access to the Rack and Maiden, so get with it!!!

Stacy, I used to have a copy of us @ wild river country, I think it was me, you, Mandy Jester, & Jim Pollock. We went on a Tuesday to tape the dance show. Does anyone remember getting all those signatures to have the uglies DJ our high school?

10/18/08 12:21 AM #230

Trina Smurl (Williams)

Coca Cola shirt.... check
Panama Jack....everything.... check
Mullet in 8th grade... check... thanks mom for the hair cut and saving that money.
Polo, too strong! What!! That's just crazy talk.

And Guess pants. Yeah, I begged for some... BEGGED people!

Mike, your welcome.

Hope you guys had a good time at the game tonight. Really, wish I could have used the company jet to get there but it was booked. Maybe next time.

10/18/08 08:14 AM #231

Stacy Cunningham (Gilbert)

That's right Chris! Let's just hope that tape is lost forever...

Stacy, you are lucky, I think my dad recorded over it, but dont worry I am calling channel 4 on Monday to see if they have any copies left. We can put it on U Tube & Pat can put it on a blog! Welcome aboard Paul.

Where the heck is Jim Jordan? Hey where the hell is Richard Wade..He's gotta be the one sickest individual I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Patrick Norton

So for anyone that went, How was homecoming last night?

Sheridan 15 Benton 7
The game was a defensive struggle, had it not been fumble at the Sheridan 5, Benton would not have scored.
The Jackets held Benton to 80 yards total offense in the 2nd half. Good effort. Looks like the Jackets will be making the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row, 1ST time in school history.
The 86,87,and 88 teams overall record 23-9-1 best of any 3 years since the 70's under Whitworth

I was there. Spent most of the game catching up with David Fort, Chris Paty and Paul Allen. I concur with Paul on the score, but that was about all I could tell you about the game. Buffie Mayo and David Waters were there. I think there may have even been a Sheila Ward sighting. I was told Jim Anderson and Curtis McElyea were around as well. I didn't see Crystal Clark, but then again I didn't go under any bleachers.

10/18/08 06:44 PM #240

Crystal Clark (Woods)

Sorry, I missed the game AND the under-the-bleachers meeting at midnight. Had a child with fever! Glad to hear a few of you were able to get together and reminisce (sp?) about the old times!!!

10/18/08 06:45 PM #241

Crystal Clark (Woods)

And just for the record... Tucker isn't alone -- I had camoflauge parachute pants in the seventh grade! Does anyone remember leg warmers and jelly shoes???

10/18/08 07:32 PM #242

Chris Paty

Yall missed it. Jamie's right other than when the the roar of the crowd got my attention i missed most of it. Don't for McGiver haven't seen him in many moons. Yall make plans for the next home we'll do it again. oh yea Shanon Talbert walked his daughter she was in the court but we didn't see him to talk.

10/18/08 09:23 PM #243

Missy Ketchum (Warren)

Yes Crystal, I owned both leg warmers and jelly shoes. Actually, the leg warmers are coming back! I can't believe it! LOL! I saw them ALL over Wal-Mart! The tights under the mini skirts have already come back in style as well. My daughter wears them now. We are all getting old!!!! LOL!!
