David-evidently some things were said on the message board yesterday that weren't so nice about Mrs. Cook and other teachers,so they were deleted before people had a chance to read them. I'll have to tell you at church next Sunday (IF YOU'RE THERE)!! Just jokin, we missed you holding down the back row with us.
Crystal- I'm so jealous! I never got that kiss from Scott! Last night I just had to get out my annual from 1st grade to see who all was in our class. Do you remember Cecil Keister? That's all I'm going to say....I'm gonna be nice.

I would have left too if my name was a synonym for... well, I think you all know where I'm going with that.

Almost halfway there! Keep telling classmates when you see them. We are at 116 of 251.

Christian, I remember Cecil...OH MY! The memories just keep coming! BTW I think you look so much like your mom! I always thought she was so beautiful! I hope your parents are well! Nice to see you and Jason!

Hey Melody! I know, Jason and I have had more fun on this website. Unfortunately, he didn't have the pleasure of meeting Cecil. Thank you so much for the compliment, that's sweet. You look great too... haven't changed much at all.

Christian, I do remember Cecil Keister and, to tell you the truth, I guess I didn't realize he didn't finish high school with us. Wonder where he went? Maybe he moved to another town. The nice thing about elementary school was that we saw no differences in each other related to socio-economic status. Rich kids (as if there were any in Sheridan back then) played with the less fortunate kids side by side and nobody had a bad thing to say about anyone, unless you broke my crayon!!! Too bad all that changes in later years!

Speaking of Scott Taylor, where is he and why isn't he on this site??? Last I heard, he was living in Hot Springs as a thriving artist!

I called Miss Rainbolt today and left here a message about the site. I think she would get a big kick out of it. If we don't hear from her in a few days i'll call her again. Any one know what happened to Mrs. Hawhee or what ever his name was. We were so close you know.

I rode the school bus with Cecil.
Coach Smith was a good guy. I really admired Coach Welch, we really ought to do something to honor him. The news of his passing hit me hard, as I am sure it did for many of the former players.
Anyone remember Deana Brown? wonder what happened to her?
I saw Scott last year at the 87 Jackets reunion, he has a son, and I think he lives at Lake Hamilton.
I ran in Jeff Darnell last Monday at McDonalds in White Hall.
I would also like to thank Pat on the awesome job, he has done. Sorry if anyone was offended with my WTH post.
Tucker keep on spreading the good word brahh
Kevin Martin, good to hear from you.
Speaking of Kevin, anyone know where Lockhart is?

Has anyone heard from Mrs. Murray lately? I heard she retired from teaching but thats about it. Its amazing how little you can hear when you live under a rock.

Robert, were you the one, that Hugged Clinton, and Drove the Hurse? I remember someone hugging Clinton, and i remember someone driving the hurse.
Anyone remember when Richard's car burnt?

10/20/08 07:08 PM #283

Scott Holt

Yep, Robert Welch hugged Gov. Clinton.

I was doing my ROTC/color guard thing that day...and had dared Sam Wyman to hug Clinton as he walked past me...I even bet him my watch and ring that he wouldn't do it. Robert was two people behind Sam.

The principal at the time was Steve Brown. Mr Brown had just walked over to the side of the stage and was standing right next to me...when Robert grabbed Bill in that bear hug Mr. Brown said "son of a bitch!"

I think that was the first time I had heard profanity from an "adult" at school...and I think Mr. Brown was more than a little embarrassed that I heard him say it.

Ah, good times!

I called Scott Taylor last week and told him about the site. I will email him tonight AGAIN!!! If he doesn't answer, I will give everyone his email address and I say we all email him. He was suppost to look for the Scott Boatright video. My dad used to email Mr. Haughee, I think I spelled that wrong. I talked with Coach Smith earlier this year about 2 months ago, he is doing great he is in Lonoke right now. I got his email and phone number I will give him this site link. I emailed Bill Jeffery, Tim Staley, Billy Bob, but yet to hear anything from them. I sent Phillip Clifford an email trying to get Neal Moon email address and phone number.

I have Neal's cell number. He's been living in Miami but when I texted him to tell him about the site, he said he was moving back here in about a month. I'll try to get a hold of him again and get him on here.

Deana has a profile on here, but no pics. I still talk to her on occasion. She lives in NLR, is single and is in the dental hygeinist(sp?) business. She's doing pretty good last I heard.

I have talked to Brooks Boyd Staley and told her about the site. I also talked to Billy Bob, but his 'puter is brokeded. I suppose he'll make it eventually. I asked Danny Swihart's mom to tell him about the site when I ran into her a few days back.

I think everyone is making great efforts to get all our class mates to the site and I for one would like to say thank you. This will make the reunion that much better and make it a lot easier on the planning committee.

I think, no matter what we chose to do, we will have a great turnout and a memorable time when the class of 89 unites again.

When I went home this weekend I got my Senior Annual. If everyone could pick 1-3 people to call each night we could locate everyone within a month. Pat you could really help those who do not have there annual. When I was looking thru the annuals I noticed it told the names of each graduates parents. How I find a lot of people is thru google or anywho.com. If you can't find a students name, try for the parents. If Pat could scan the picture with the students parents name it could help those of us who do not have their annual. I assume it would be time consuming, but it would really help us out. Why hasn't Shelly Burns signed her name on this site? Thought we forgot about you didn't you?

Pat Bisbee

Chris - I'll work up something on that very soon. I have full page scans of our class members from the annual already saved on my flash drive. I'll try to get them loaded in the next day or two. The really time consuming part was editing each individual out of the full-page scan for the profile pics last month.

I sent messages to Jason Lee and Jason Dunnahoo last night on myspace. I need to call Mark VanBrunt's parents asmy old cell died taking his number with it. Thats the third cell phone that has eaten my number list before I could copy it.

Speaking of Mrs. Murry I noticed yesterday she is now on facebook.

Robert, I recommend keeping an old phone around so you can update your numbers to it regularly. I just lost a phone to Davy Jones locker this summer. It's not a good feeling.

I saw Ms. Murray getting a manicure and pedicure at the nail place in Sheridan recently. She's divorced now, and I believe she said she's living in LR? Anyway, when she said I looked familiar and asked my name, I was almost afraid to tell her because she got soooooo mad that day I pulled the fire alarm in the brand-new fine arts building! When I told her and reminded her of that incident, she was like, "Oh! Who cares?" and laughed out loud. NOT the Ms. Murray I remember, but it sure was a relief that she reacted that way!

Happy Birthday Mike. Do we all get goodie bags now?

Crystal - I am shocked at your delinquency. Puilling a fire alarm when there is no fire!? WELL, I NEVER!

Richard - I like how you still like to cross your arms and lean in pictures like you did in High School. hahaha!
