I was so happy to find the website. I had no communication with anyone in my class, so this is special. I appreciate Anne contacting me on Facebook, so I could learn of it. I can only say that I have experienced an interesting life. I moved to Phoenix shortly after graduating from high school. I made it thru Arizona State and became a RN. Then I took a huge detour with real estate and then racing. Yep, racing cars...who would have guessed that one? I turned pro in 1989, and made my living going fast in a race car for the next ten years. When that was over, I returned to nursing and then into a healthcare management position. I moved to LA 2004. Love the weather, HATE the politics, (I find them just a little too liberal). I chose a no-kid life; the idea of ever being a parent was scary! But, I have nieces I have always loved to spoil. I am still into horses, and I play some golf. A number of years ago I learned to fly fixed wing airplanes., (small ones), and now I am working very hard to learn how to fly helicopters. I am finding that challenging. I am an animal activist, and if you look me up on Facebook, you will find multiple posting about that. My brother, Mike, lives in. Salem, Oregon, and he is teaching me how to fly fish-always catch and release. (Most days I catch myself more often than fish-he has hopes that I will eventually get it...). My days in high school, although at times a lot of fun, were pretty difficult. Although I was lucky with terrific grandparents, I was not so lucky with parents, and that made life a lot harder than it needed to be. It all made me stronger in the end, but whew!

I also became a registered nurse (Arizona State), and worked as one for awhile. Went into business with my husband and then got involved in (of all things), racing cars....I know, wierd! The past ten years back into nursing and management. Weren't we Camp Fire Girls? Oh my! That was a while ago!
