Kandi Kobes Boeckman

I went to school for cosmetology and worked in Sioux Falls for a year before moving to Storm Lake. I worked in a salon for 12 years in Storm Lake before opening my own salon with two other partners. My husband is the Sports Director for KAYL Radio here in Storm Lake, he does the play by play for all local schools and BV University as well. He also has a morning show with his partner Sandy. With two teenage girls and now three sons, owning a business and a husband who keeps pleanty busy with all of his games life is crazy busy but very rich!

I was always very shy in school (boy how times have changed!) But I have to say my favorite year was my freshman year when LeAnn Roupe and I had WAY too much fun in study hall! When we would get together during that time to pretend to study so we could catch up on...oh I dont know, just being stupid really and getting caught more then once when the teachers would find our letters back and forth (half words half pictures) only to have them shown to the rest of the study hall. Then of course there was the morning and afternoon laps we took when we walked in endless circles for who knows what reason...excersize?
