Carolyn Van Donselaar Hogan

Attended WIT for one year after high school. I then got married and had two children, divorcing after 10 years of marriage. I remarried in 2001 to classmate Missi Hogan's big brother, Marty. Who knew all those years ago Missi and I would be in-laws?! My daughter is 16, my son is 13 and my step-son is 20. I recently found out I am going to be a Grandmother! My 20-year-old apparently thought we needed to add to the family tree - boy I feel old now! I am also in the process of going back to school to get an AAS degree in Business Management. Looks like I will have a busy summer, but look forward to seeing you all at the reunion!

Those early morning drill team practices, so so early, but I do miss the fun! A big thank you to Corey Robinson and Jerry Turner for teaching me how to do a particular dance move for the Salt n Pepa routine "Push It", since I didn't have "the blood" in me......

Oh, and a big apology to Mr. Lilly for throwing up on his shoes at the school dance - I blame the tequila, but I am still really sorry those nice patent leather shoes were destroyed. Did I mention how much fun 3 days of ISS was?

And who could forget piling into Jodi's 'Burb headed for the drive-in, with all but two of us hiding under boxes in the back so we only had to pay two admissions! I think we are the reason they closed down - we ran them into bankruptcy. Suppose I should apologize for that, too!

I remember Steph and I arguing with the McDonald's bimbo that Happy Meals do TOO come with a drink - we circled the drive-thru three times until we got it......Roni Sue and I getting her Chevette stuck in a field over in South Sioux......getting demerits for not having BOTH earrings in during performance to the band's rendition of China Grove out at Robert's Stadium......making our own drill team costumes for routines done to Madonna (back when she was good) - yes, children of today, we actually MADE our own costumes......Kristi and I dating those "South Sioux" boys.....oh, so many memories - they seem like yesterday - where has the time gone? May the 80s live on......
