Hey there - I put up this site on Friday afternoon and wound up hearing from several classmates - how cool is that? Now it's Friday night and I'm doing my usual Friday night thing - NOTHING! I can remember when Friday night meant the first of the weekend booze inhalation - now it means I don't have to work the next day - I still get up, my body/mind are set to get up at 6:00 a.m., so I do it because I can't seem to stay in bed much longer. Actually, the grandkids are on their way over to visit, which means there will be chaos for a while, but I love the noise and ruckus of them being here.

I'm having a birthday party for my husband on Sept. 13th - a picnic starting at 4:00 and then running until whenever. I do hope to stay up long enough to walk downtown and do a little bar-hopping - might have to alternate between a margarita and coffee! I write this because if anyone has a burning desire to come to Morgantown, you're invited to the party!

So, now that I've started this forum, please add to it - what you're doing, what you're thinking, what you think is important - whatever.

Here I am again, writing in this forum, hoping that something I say will strike others and they will respond. My rant this morning will be about the shift in support from Obama to McCain due to Palin being his VP pick. I am sorely offended by the thought that women across America IDENTIFY WITH HER!!! What????? She has NOTHING in common with most women that I know - and why would this generate votes, anyway? She's the VP for god's sake, not the president. And she wants to teach CREATIONISM - how stupid/backward is that??????? It's kinda like being interested in Paris Hilton because she's so often in the media - I can't figure out the attracion, with either of them. Burns me up that the media is making women look like they have no brains.

Rose Taylor (Baker) JENI, THANKS FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB ON THIS WEB SITE! THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN "TAGGED" OR "REUNION". WOULD LOVE TO JOIN YOU AND PAM ON OCT 1ST BUT, UNFORTUNATELY I'M MON.-FRI. AS LONG AS SCHOOL IS IN SESSION. AGAIN, GREAT JOB!

Hello, Ladies. Wish I lived in the area to join you. Rarely get back home more than once or twice a year, but always love coming back when I do get the chance.

I hope to see my parents over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. It would be great to see all of you. Since graduation, the only class member I have seen was Bob Adkins, and we met by chance in Louisville, Kentucky, several years ago at a bankruptcy school.

Rose Taylor (Baker) WISH EVERYONE WOULD JOIN IN ON THIS WEBSITE. I NEVER SEE ANYONE FROM OUR CLASS. DID HAVE A COUPLE OF MEETINGS WITH FLORA BUT IT'S BEEN AWHILE SINCE I'VE HEARD FROM HER. COME ON TIGERS, GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!!

Jennifer Forester I heard from Debbie Cooper! I've not heard from her since we graduated. I hope everyone in the class gets on board - if you have email addresses, invite them - again and again and again. Surely we will be able to get something together for 2010 and have the chance to see each other in person. Plan on it!!!!

Sheila Livingston (Hickman) I never see anyone from the class but I do run into Mr. Rymer occasionally. He apparently lives in St. Marys. I try to avoid him - always have the fear that he will recognize me and hit me in my forehead with his knuckle:>) Wonder if he still has chalk dust on his fingers???
