HEY SHEILA, DOES MR. RYMER STILL WEAR THE SAME SUIT?LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

09/22/08 12:15 PM #14

Sheila Livingston (Hickman)

Hi Rose, You know, I think he may wear the same clothes. I kind of feel sorry for him - he seems so lonely. Any of you single out there & looking for a very sexy man? I might just be able to fix you up:>)

09/23/08 07:33 AM #15

Jennifer Forester

Can you imagine what Rymer's idea of sexy would be?!? Every once in a while, I see a letter that he's written in the Star News. Just like Algebra class, I don't understand what he's talking about.

I wonder what ever happened to Mr. Markey.....

09/29/08 09:26 AM #16

Pam Fox (Roberts)

OMG the mention of Mr. Rymer is even scarey. lol.....
Well all hop aboard and meet at my house Wednesday. Just please pretend you dont see the dust bunnies when you get here. I've been working 12 and 16hour shifts.

By the way ladies, my view of Mr. Rymer looking sexy would be a white Erkle lol....and I've often wondered where Mr. Markey went too.

Well as usual, I need to get ready for work. I have to go in early again today. So see you all the 1st.

Bye
Pam

10/01/08 12:38 AM #18

Pam Fox (Roberts)

About Wednesday, I've not heard from Jeni so I doubt she gets to come over.
The Nursing home my mom is in has scheduled a meeting for tomorrow at 11:30a.m. So I hope to hear something by 10. Sure wish you could get down here. Maybe we can plan something for Spring.

Hey there to everyone - Pam and I had a great time looking back on old times and laughing. I would suggest it be done often and with every member of the class. Anyone ever in the Morgantown area, CALL ME! I always appreciate a chance to reminisce (and leave work early)

10/02/08 05:08 PM #21

Pam Fox (Roberts)

Hey one and all, Yes we had a great time...We need to do this as often as we can. Ya all know we're not getting any younger. OMG Jeni showed me some pictures of some of you at our senior class party or skip day. Wow what a bunch of young faces. Wish more of you could have been here. Maybe we can all try to get a day in the spring or summer. Maybe even plan a cookout here at my house. Just let me know, and Jeni please remind me as I have this disease called CRS...Can't Remember Sh--.
If your back over here Jeni just give me a call, maybe mall shop sometime instead of the Dollar Store LMAO

ON MY WAY HOME,I STOPPED AT THE HOSPITAL TO SAY GOODBYE TO A FELLOW COWORKER AND FRIEND.SHE'S DYING OF CANCER. IT'S A MATTER OF DAYS NOW. MY FRIEND FRAN IS ONLY 49 AND TONIGHT IS SENIOR HOMECOMING FOR HER ONLY CHILD. HOW LUCKY WE ALL ARE TO HAVE ANOTHER DAY WITH LOVED ONES. ENJOY EVERY MINUTE!

10/06/08 12:57 AM #23

Pam Fox (Roberts)

OH Rose, So sorry to hear about your friend Fran. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,Fran, and her family. I understand how hard and painful it is from loosing Pam. You never forget and never understand how someone so wonderful can be taken from us so early in life.

Life is precious and time is short - enjoy what you can, when you can. So don't pass up the next opportunity to spend time with someone you like, you miss, you enjoy, etc. I hate to think "I wish I would have...." but instead enjoy thinking "wow, glad I....."

How 'bout them Eers?

10/08/08 05:13 PM #25

Jana Flesher (Trivolette)

Speaking about those "Eers....Do you remember Coach Bill Stewart doing his student teaching our senior year. I remember him as really good looking. What happened? He looks so much older than us...

10/13/08 02:04 AM #26

Pam Fox (Roberts)

OMG Jana,

Now that you mention it, that was Bill Stewart. I would have never thought. He looks totally different. I sure hope the Eers start improving. I hear alot of people blaming Stewart but thats crazy and unfair to Mr. Stewart. I feel when the old coach left WV and his players,(I dont even like to speak his name), he took a lot of heart from WV and the players. But dont fear, Mr. Stewart will get them turned around.
Please forgive my errors in this note, its 2a.m. and I've been emailing Robert Minor. I got home from work around midnight and have to be back at 11.

Hey girls,

There is a basket bingo,(Longaberger), here in New Martinsville on Sunday, November 9th at the Catholic Church. (Its located behind Kentucky Fried Chicken.) Early bird starts at 1:30. Its $25.00 for the 1st packet and $5.00 for a second.

Guess whose calling in sick that day.......lol If anyone wants to go just let me know.

10/13/08 10:13 AM #28

Jennifer Forester

I don't remember Bill Stewart, but I sure do remember Coach Burns! Jana you are right - Stewart looks WAY older than us. He's Stan's cousin, and Stan has aged pretty well.

10/14/08 01:28 AM #29

Pam Fox (Roberts)

OMG Jeni who don't remember Coach Burns. I think we all liked him. I can remember Coach Wilison. While we were in his class, he would tell us to do something then he would go out of the class and we wouldn't see him till the end of class. Somebody would always turn the clock up so class would end before time. lol

10/14/08 01:41 PM #30

Jennifer Forester

When I think about all the stuff we got away with in class, it's a wonder any of us got an education (and I could probaby argue that the education we received was not comparable to what other schools provided - except for Paden City and Middlebourne, both WORSE than SHS).
The easiest teacher to get things over on was Mr. Skeen - many times people would return from lunch DRUNK and then have fun in Art class. And how about Mr. Keys, who couldn't see anything by the time he was our homeroom teacher. Remember the tampon in the fishtank?

10/14/08 07:13 PM #31

Sheila Livingston (Hickman)

OMG! That is funny. We need to get together and laugh about the old times. Gosh I feel old.

I just came in from my nightly 1 hour walk. My walking partner is 10 years younger - I am sure she is getting tired of hearing about my sore heels, knees, hips, etc. Anybody else no longer 100%?

10/16/08 01:44 AM #32

Pam Fox (Roberts)

Heck yea,

I sure remember the tampon...lmao. I still want to know who stole the semester test that Coach Burns made up. I remember it was found in the basement on top the furnace ducts. Jeni, we were trying to remember that the other day.
OH crap, Sheila..
I bet we walk 7 or 8 miles a shift at the jail. We dont even have time to set down for a break. My ole legs ache, cramp, and swell. I can see us now. We can reminisce at my house wrapped up in blankets and in the rocking chairs lmao.....Gosh never thought I'd see these days.

10/16/08 04:02 PM #33

Rose Taylor (Baker)

HEY EVERYONE, DO YOU ALL REMEMBER COACH BARNHART? HIS BREATH COULD KILL YA.LOL! I UNDERSTAND THE ACHES AND PAINS, MY JOINTS SOUND LIKE RICE KRISPIES, SNAP,CRACKLE AND POP! LAST DAY FOR OU STUDENTS IS NOV. 21ST. AFTER THAT THIS OLD CHIC IS TAKING A WINTER BREAK UNTIL DEC.29TH.

10/17/08 11:50 AM #34

Pam Fox (Roberts)

OH Gosh Rose,

I sure wish I could take time off like that, but you know how it is when your a little peon in a job. I'm stuck working every holiday unless its one of my scheduled days off. Sure hope you enjoy it. My son is being shipped to Iraq in December, this will be his 3rd tour. I am scared to death. So our holidays are going to suck.....

Mr Barnhart, I do remember him but I dont remember his breath...lol yea right!

Bye the way ladies, wasn't our teacher TOM STEWART not Bill. I will have to get my year books out and look if I ever get a chance.

10/18/08 04:08 PM #35

Jana Flesher (Trivolette)

If my memory is correct, and there's a good possibility that it is not, Bill Stewart was only there about 6 weeks. He was doing his student teaching. I thought sure it was the same Bill Stewart. His picture was not in the yearbook because he was only there for a short time.

10/18/08 09:42 PM #36

Rose Taylor (Baker)

BILL STEWART IS IN THE 1976 YEARBOOK. I BOUGHT A COPY BECAUSE there WAS ONLY ONE YEAR BETWEEN MY HIGH SCHOOL DAYS AND MY SISTERS.

10/20/08 01:08 PM #37

Jennifer Forester

I have the 1976 Yearbook because Hank was in that class - it is Bill Stewart in there - and you're right, we had Tom Stewart - don't think they are related. In the 1976 book, Bill is cute and boyish looking - now he looks old old old!

What I hate the most about getting old is the way you gain weight in the same places your mother has it, and you CAN'T GET RID OF IT! SO then you have to limit what you eat - I used to be able to get a pizza from PJ's and eat the whole thing myself - no guilt, no fat. That's not the case now. I consider my weight gain my "inner child." It actually does represent many fine meals out with my friends! BTW - when's the next time people want to get together and talk about old time? Sheila, what's your life like as far as scheduling stuff? Rose - maybe we could get together during your break?
