Hello everyone.....A VERY SPECIAL BIRTHDAY WISH
to SHEILA LIVINGSTON AND TO JOHN KNOWLTON. HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.
Gosh I miss everyone. I have been so dang busy with work. But guess what the wonderful state of west virginia did to us now. They decided to give us a 3 day break a month, change our days off each time, and take our holiday and overtime pay away from us. DONT THEY SUCK. So I have been really ticked over that. Hope everyone is well. Lets get back and start chatting again. Bob that includes you and any of the guys.

Hey Pam - makes you wonder what Manchin does down there in Charleston, doesn't it? And he says WV is doing well.....

Sheila, thanks for reminding about the birthdays of Johnny, Jenny and Jana. This getting old isn't for sissys, and I'm glad we continue to hang in there.

Cathy - I'm looking forward to Sistersfest, too - hope things work out so I can come over and hang with you! Girls - we don't have to be blood sisters to be sisters for this - come join us!

SO how many watched the celebration yesterday (like you could avoid it). I was very moved by the whole thing - loved Obama's speech, say what you will about him, he is a powerful public speaker. I asked my husband if he thought Obama talked like that at home "I'll have eggs......and bacon for breakfast." Oh well - it just made me wish I was 20 and could go off and volunteer to assist the country get back on its feet - so his speech made me want to help - hope it does others as well.

I saw the movie Cadillac Records, where the Etta James song was sang by Beyonce - the movie was pretty good but totally inaccurate about the story of the record company. The music is great - of course, if you love the blues, you know that already!

Boy Jeni, it sure does make me wonder about what he's doing with the monies. But I bet you one thing...they are all making their pockets healthier.
As for the Obama speech, I won't go there lol
I sure would love to go to sister fest. If I get that weekend off I will try to be there, always the more the merrier.

Would love to have you at Sister Fest, so I hope your time-off works. Will you have Superbowl Sunday off? I am so thrilled with the thought of watching the Steelers get Ring #6 - I am crazy over Troy Polumalu - I think he is a GOD!!!!

01/22/09 08:45 PM #146

Pam Fox (Roberts)

OH GOSH JENI YOUR GOING TO HATE ME AGAIN.....lmao

THERE WILL DEFINATELY BE A SUPERBOWL PARTY AT MY HOUSE ON FEB 1ST. IT'S MY SON'S 21 ST BIRTHDAY! HE AND I WILL BE DRESSED IN ALL OUR STEELER APPAREL. WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO BE THERE. MAYBE WE CAN PLAN A GET TOGETHER HOME GAME NEXT SEASON. ANY YOU FANS INTERESTED? HI TO CATHY, GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK ON LINE. HELLO TO BOB AND BOBBY TOO!

01/27/09 01:54 PM #148

Jennifer Forester

My god Pam, you are living dangerously if you are rooting against the Steelers and living in the Ohio Valley! LMAO now......I kinda like being a dirty old woman, looking is fun, and no harm done. Troy does have an exceptional butt, for sure.

How about this snow?! I hope that Punxatawney Phil forecasts an early Spring on Groundhog day - anyone ever go up for that? I have gone twice, had an excellent time while there - it's bizarre that so many people are gathered to hear from a varmint. It can even be family -friendly - one side of the hill is for family, the other side for drinking college kids. I won't be there this year, but I'll be wearing my groundhog earrings that day.

Pam Fox (Roberts)

Actually I don't get to watch the game as I have to work the next 7 days without a day off. I really liked Bill Cower, so when he left, well you know how I am.....I guess I don't like change lmao It's the age crap ya see

Rose tell your son I hope he has a great birthday and enjoy.
Cathy great to see you back on here also.

How did everyone like that weather we had? It was just beautiful here. It took me 1hr. and 18 mins. to get home Tuesday night from work. I sure hope none of you lost your electricity. We were fortunate not to loose power here.

Hope you all enjoy your SuperBowl and that your favorite teams wins.

P.S. Jeni, please tell the groundhog he had better not see his shadow lol. I would love to see that.

Damn that groundhog!!!

Helluva Superbowl, wasn't it? I was mesmerized through the whole thing - I drank whiskey to celebrate and am not having the best of days today - my belly is just grumbling and I wish I could get about 3 more hours of sleep.

Went to Weirton on Saturday so my husband could hang out with some of his high school buddies and had a blast - so we really need to plan our next get-together and try to bring in even more people - remember, Class of 75 Rules, so we can do this!!!!

Jana Flesher (Trivolette)

Thank you Rose!! Talked to Cinda for an hour tonight. It was great to hear from her, too. Isn't it strange that you never forget your childhoods friends birthdays. Tink and Brenda have one soon too. What ever happened to Tink??? Haven't seen her in years....

02/05/09 07:40 AM #153

Jennifer Forester

Last time I saw Tink was at Eric's viewing in 07 - what a sad way to see people, don't you think? Happy Birthday to Jenny and Jana - I know Brenda's birthday is the 22nd of this month - Brent also had a birthday around this same time - I haven't seen Brent in ages.

Jana, I bet you had as much fun talking to Cinda as I do Sherry - we just laugh and it's like we don't go weeks without talking. I hope Cinda and her family are doing well.

Hey Rose - BEST DAMN SUPERBOWL EVER is right!

02/17/09 04:35 PM #154

Hey Cathy - I'm definitely coming to Sister Fest - with at least one of my sisters - hope to see you there. What houses are going to be on tour other than the Durham mansion?

02/19/09 11:23 AM #155

Pam Fox (Roberts)

OMG It feels like I am neglecting you all. I have been so dam busy. Well you all will be happy to hear I lost a 50.00 bet on the Steeler game. So Congrats to all you Steeler fans. A very late HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mr. Robert Minor. I miss you all.
Oh by the way, I seen Tink 2 years ago here in New Martinsville. She was at the vegetable stand by Bill Forbes Chev. She looked and sounded great. Jana, so glad someone heard from Cinda. You should get her to get online and talk to us.
Rose how was your sons birthday party, hope he had a great time.

Maybe people aren't writing because it's just too damn cold!!!! I am looking forward to Spring and some warmer weather. The time change is coming up soon - I always like that, because it seems with more light comes more energy!

Thank You for asking Rose, Ryan is doing well. Believe it or not he's taking college classes online on Tuesdays and Thursdays while over there. He works the midnight shift and they are 14 hour shifts. So needless to say he is exhausted. As for summer bring it on please, I am so dang tired of being tired. The clocks go UP an hour on the 8th. So everyone remember! Hope we all get our energy back or we will all be asking for GERITOL....LOL

Hey - this is the big Sisters Fest weekend - my Mom, my sister Betsy, and my daughter Micah are all going to attend - we're dressing up and singing "Stop in the Name of Love" and it will probably be a mess, since we have not been together to practice AT ALL. But I look forward to the weekend and know it will be fun. Hope everyone else is giong to have a good weekend, too.

03/16/09 09:26 PM #161

Pam Fox (Roberts)

Happy Belated Birthday to Cinda and Patty......Sorry all I haven't been able to login to this website for a few days. I don't know what happened but Jeni and I racked our brains out. Anyway I AM BACK.....lol
How was sister fest? I will probably be away for a while again due to work. I have training in Glenville for a week, and then I have gun qualifying. So I am going to take my laptop and hope there is wireless internet service there.
Hope all is well with everyone
Pam

Sisters Fest was AMAZING, and I would recommend it to all women - make up your own family, it doens't have to be blood relatives - we are all sisters at heart. My mom, Betsy, my daughter Micah and I dressed up like the Supremes, and sang Stop in the Name of Love. I laughed so hard I thought I'd pee myself. There were about 140 women there - not bad for a festival that started 10 years ago with 12 women. Next year's theme is Mardi Gras, and I'm planning already to be there - I'm bringing my washboard for some cajun music playin. We also got to tour some of the old homes in the 'ville - how meat they are. For 36.00, the food was wonderful - the Elks prepared the banquet and it was great, the Fire Dept. did the breakfast and it was great, there was also lunch and an appetizer buffet - quite a bargain! Hope to see some classmates there next year - did see Cathy Williamson Eddy - we had fun.
