Althea Martin Richardson

I am a happily married mother of 5 children. I am Vice President of a Gospel record label - Heavy Bass Records - we specialize in all areas of gospel; jazz, hip hop, traditional, rock, you name we produce it.

I've been working in the music industry for over 7 years doing everything from marketing and promotion to setting up contracts to scouting.

Although I love working with music, my heart is with counseling women.

I have a women's ministry called WOVE (Women Of Vision and Excellence) and its foundation is based on the Proverbs 31 women. Counseling spans from domestic violence to sexual assault victims, to marriage - the role of the wife.

My goal for 2009 is to return to school and work on towards a Master in Psychology.

So many memories...Senior trip to Baltimore Harbor was something pretty cool. I also enjoyed volunteering in the Special Olympics with my friend John. Oh, and being a Basketball Manager(water girl) for the basketball team.
