Married my high school sweetheart December 1968. Worked at Interstate Insurance until our first daughter was born. Stayed home with children for several years.
Worked 3 years at Stowers Machinery as Service Secretary. Then at UnumProvident for 9 years in the Treasury Department.
I went back to School and finally got my College Degree as an RN in 1997. Worked at Memorial Hospital 4 years and at Hospice of Chattanooga for 8 years. I resigned from Hospice in November 2009 to care for my dad who was himself a Hospice patient. He passed away in January 2010 but I haven't gone back to work yet. I may go back soon but for now I'm taking a break.
I keep my grandchildren as well as being caregiver for my 84 year old mother for now.
I have been truly blessed in my life.
