THE OBITUARY OF BILL HAYNES...
William Franklin Haynes, 70, of South Charleston, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. He was retired from Charleston Newspapers with over 20 years of service and had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. William was an avid WVU fan as well as an avid fisherman, and enjoyed cooking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Kathleen Robinson Haynes. Surviving are his sons, Dusty Haynes and Brandin Haynes; daughters, Melody Haynes and Dawn Owens; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Steve Rodeheaver; grandchildren, Taylor, Mark, Jesse and Lilly; and great-grandchildren, Kaylynn and Ryan.A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bollinger Funeral Home, 420 Lee St. W., Charleston.
