Sal had cancer I saw him often over the years as he was a salesman and a great friend. I still remember what a great cook his mother was. He  was truly a loving gentle man.

Salvatore and I grew up a block apart on Ohio St and went through school together.  He was one of the nicest, most generous and fun-loving guys I ever knew.  He always had a smile on his face and it truly lit up the room.  You'd have to wonder with that smile coming at you what he was up to.  It's sad that he has passed.

Sal was such a nice friendly guy in high school. The last time I saw him was in 1976 when his brother-in-law bought our home in Rock Lake Village. After we moved into our new home in Thousand Oaks, he came with his brother-in-law for a visit. It was so nice to talk with him and hear about his family. Sal was so proud of them. He was the same guy, only now a nice friendly man!
