Skip and I were best friends all through Jr.High and High School and shared some funny moments. In the 9th grade we all had potato guns and would shoot the teachers in the butt. Skip, Jiggy and I climbed the outside ledge at the Capitol and up to the dome late one night after hiding in a storage room at the capitol. Skip was a Page there. Skip lost his Dad's ring at, I think, Armorview Park while we were drinking. We got the car stuck up and while pushing the car he lost his ring in the mud. We were all covered with mud and had to go to a laundry to clean up.

I will miss Skip greatly, I am glad he has such a beautiful family.

Skip was a great person and a dear friend. Our friendship started in the 7th grade at Spring Hill Jr High where we learned a lot about life by doing things that I never told my kids about. We had lots of fun and lots of laughs together! We dug through the trash cans after school collecting  the "Lucky Star" wrappers off of writing paper, so when we got 10,000 we could trade them in for a bike to auction-off and split the money.

He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to Skip's family,

Benny

Goodbye and R.I.P. my dear classmate and friend.

I have known "Skip" since 3rd grade at RL Village Elementary through jr and sr high school.  He was one of the nicest, friendliest guys I ever knew.  He was my "prom date" my junior year and we had a great time that night.  I remember his "Donald Duck" persona and all the laughs we got from that.  He was soooo funny!  I was going to ask him if he could still make those sounds the next time I touched base with him.  Unfortunately, I'm too late.  We had gotten in touch when this website first came out and shared our family lives over the past 40+ years.

He was sooo very proud of his family and my condolences are certainly with them for their loss.

One of the last comments made in the message center was from Skip.  I knew him well in high school.  He was always so friendly and outgoing.  My condolences to his family and friends.
