I hope none of those last comments were a dog on Pearl Jam!! STILL one of my all time favorites...even the Ten album

Amy Daniel (Johnson)

Rockin out to Pearl Jam always takes me back to those big hair days- best concert I have ever been to. One of my most memorable moments in high school was when Aaron Redman tried to throw a pencil across the room to hit someone else in art class and it stuck right in the side of my face. I still carry the scar, but I'm not bitter or anything :) It is great to hear how everyone is doing and I can't wait for the reunion.

Ouch! Well we got him back for ya. My son threw a crabapple and hit him in the ear a few years ago. No scar, but a lot of pain. My son still talks about it because he made Aaron (who is his Dad's cousin) so mad. :-)

Ok, I was a month or two off with the baby-making. Thanks for correcting me Kathy! That doesn't say much for me as an accountant, does it? :-)

Stephanie Hoehne (Burnett)

I too was scarred by Aaron Redman- we had an epic marker fight in Mrs. Messer's social studies class in 8th grade. My arms were covered with rainbow scribbles for days.... I got him pretty good too!

I agree with the previous observations- you all look lovely and your kids are so cute!

Hi everyone! Kathy, you may stop yelling at me now, I'm in!
Very good to see you all. Glad you all are well.
I'm pretty sure I saw Amy D & Karen N at that very same Pearl Jam concert! It was crowded so I wasn't able to say hi. Karen I think I've seen you a few times, but never approached because I wasn't positive it was you.
Andy says hi to all!

I'm sure you did see Amy and I at that wonderful Pearl Jam concert!!...was I crying? I love Eddie!

It's about time you posted your profile Sharon!

All this talk of Pearl Jam reminded me of raiding my grandfather's closet for flannel shirts. Why was flannel every considered fashionable - especially for women?!?

03/13/08 10:25 AM #37

Kristi Loveland (Kulik)

Oh my! I loved flannels! And I raided my dad's closet for them too!!! Yeah, one of those....what were we thinking?!?!?

Hey at least we smartened up. We went for years with those skin tight mini skirts, bare legs, and slip on shoes (even in the wintertime). We finally decided to get warm!!!

Karen Novotny

flannel...grunge rock...it just fit

You cannot deny the comfort level of a flannel shirt, though. I'm known to wear one while I'm outside shoveling snow. But, my fashion meter is sorta stuck on "Are you f**kin' serious??" so do with that information what you will.

P.S. I will also vote for Bonnie's 90210 story as the best one so far. That show did not age well AT ALL...

Who are we kidding? That shit was terrible 15 years ago. :)

So many pencil stabbing stories....(see Jennifer Eckersley's profile). We should start a support group! Or maybe a scarred by Aaron Redman support group. Yea Karen and I were pretty much like 16 year olds at the PJ concert. Maybe we can get them to play at our reunion. Anyone have connections to Eddie?

Matt Porath

What show were you guys at? Surprised I didn't see you there. I've had a bit of trouble letting go of the early to mid-'90s music myself.

Amy and I were at the May 2006 show (I think) at the palace...you know ..the one where Eddie was pretty wasted and performed for almost 3 hours and wouldn't actually stop until they turned on the lights and MADE him stop!!! It was wonderful!!! Amy and I both have that very concert on cd thanks to her and her hubby

Weird... I was just listening to that Detroit '06 show (May 22 to be exact) coming back from the west coast earlier this week. Were you guys down on the floor? It WAS a really good show... I think it was my 16th Pearl Jam concert. I'm like a Deadhead with them. I just can't let go of my youth. :)

Eddie Vedder drunk??!?!?!! The hell you say, Karen. I'm surprised the guy can fit in the time to get up and perform with his busy regimen of chain-smoking butts and drinking bottles of wine.

Karen Novotny

We WERE down on the floor Matt..too cool. not very close though..
I know it's hard to believe Eddie was drinking!!! weird huh? A red wine actually...well that and probably some crack or something.

OK, Bonnie's was good, but has anyone read Tom Kastamo's profile? OMFNG! I was crying. It is funny as hell. If I die tonight the funeral parlor will have a hell of a time trying to get that smile off my face.
Thank you Tom. That is great!

03/15/08 05:13 AM #47

Mike Mann

Yeah Tom's was priceless! When I got to that last photo...I was rolling on the floor. That was great!

03/15/08 01:07 PM #48

Jennifer Dorey (Duncan)

Tom's was pretty good. I wish I could fit my drink there! (2nd picture) I also rather enjoyed the video on Jason (Kumquat) Kiernan's bio as well.
So Matt, Karen, Amy and I were on the floor at that very same PJ concert!?!? Crazy!

Okay so we gotta come up with some "awards" ;-) I've got one - "Most changed", and I don't know about you guys but so far just off pics, that has to go to Stan "the Man" Forfa.

Dr. Forfa, dude - you don't even look like the same guy we went to HS with! Holy Smokes, are you sure those aren't the pics that came with the frame? haha ;-)

Great to hear you're doing well Stan!

On that same note - How many Doctors do we have in our class?

Stan, Corey Oscarson, I think Erika Dimassa is right? Anyone else???

03/17/08 02:12 PM #50

Kristi Loveland (Kulik)

Karen and I work for a Dr....does that count?!?!?

I'm waiting for Carl Pietila to post his profile...come on Carl...let's see if you can outdo Tom!!!
