Now married to Stacy for almost 15 years. (that's over 7.8 million minutes) We are so very blessed to have our 3 beautiful sons. They are the apple(s) of my eye. As you can see by the pics of them below, we have a lot to be thankful for.
I work in the Financial District in Downtown San Francisco (right on the California St. Cable Car Line) as a consultant with Wells Fargo Investments.
I live in a condo in Downtown SF, and Stacy and the boys live at our home in Memphis (Lakeland). I commute back and forth as much as possible (normally 2-3 times per month). The travel is tiresome, but the frequent flier miles add up and I am in a job that I could have only dreamed of just a couple of years ago.
Our oldest two sons attend Briarcrest
Christian School. Welden (3rd Grade) and Jeb (Jr. Kindergarten).
I believe that God put us on the earth to enjoy and celebrate his creation...and I try to instill this into my boys every day.
I think of where I came from and almost laugh sometimes. I really believe that there is some truth to the old saying that C students rule the world...or at least I think so.
I have enjoyed an outpouring of God's blessings over the last several years, but I've definitely had my fair share of pain as well. I have lost both of my parents and my grandmother in the past few years. (most of you know how close my grandmother and I were) I miss them terribly.
So my advice would be to live life to the fullest...and always be generous to others and gracious to God for the blessings that you have been given. And tell your mom and dad that you love them every chance that you get...someday you'll be glad that you did.
I miss my school days. They were some of the most wonderful times of my life. I still can't believe that it's been nearly 20 years. It's sad to say, but I have not done the best job of keeping up with my classmates as I said I was going to in 1989...as a matter of fact, I have done a rather poor job. I talk to Underwood on occasion, and I have run into Neil and Weaver recently...but that's about it.
I can't wait to see all of you again.
School Story:
Most Disturbing Memory: Is it Scott Underwood's Naked Dance or Jim Whitehead checking me out of Mrs. Peacock's 9th grade science class to show me the huge turd he drydocked in the football locker room bathroom? I'll go with the latter.
Favorite Memory (several): Everyone getting drunk on Jack Daniels and peeing on Chris' head at Weaver's house, cruising thru Sonic with the $39 radio as loud as I could get it, the '76 rust brown Maverick with the pink fuzzy dice (backseat was the site of my and Stacy's first kiss), throwing apples at cars from Stacy's backyard on Holmes Road and being caught by her dad, my buddy Keith squealing tires in front of SBEC and being chased across town by Mr. Manley at 90mph (what was he thinking?), getting the dreaded "Shelb" if you did something stupid, getting tricked into looking at someone's finger and thumb looped in a circle and getting the shit knocked out of you if you couldn't put your finger in the hole before they moved their hand, Larry Ray telling us in Bible class that all babies go to hell when they die, 20-0, Colin and SHOWTIME, Chris Wright always having the latest in fashion (Thriller Jacket specifically, and didn't he have the glittery glove also?), melting Weaver's contacts to his eyeballs in Underwood's blue Toyota, getting sent home from school to remove the "PREP SUCKS" I had painted on my window in shoe polish, getting sent home from school for smelling whatever Dawn Barret had in that brown bottle, the Dirty White Boys and that dirt road we used to sit and drink beer on, and soooo many more.
