The dates are set! The countdown clock has begun! Our 40-year Speedway High School class reunion weekend will occur September 27-29, 2019. That also coincides with Speedway's Homecoming, with the 'Plugs hosting the Washington Continentals at Johnson Field.
Here's the line-up for the weekend:
Friday, September 27 / Welcome back! Reception + Mixer
McGilvery's Pub & Eatery

Time: 6:00 PM - Midnight
Speedway High School Homecoming also occurs tonight. The mighty Sparkplugs take on the Washington Continentals at Johnson Field. Game time: 7:00 PM
Saturday, September 28 / 40-Year Reunion Happy Hour + Dinner
1911 Grill

Reception / cash bar: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Dinner: 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Raffle and Program: 8:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Post-dinner drinks and conversation: 9:00pm - 10:00 pm
And later...a pub crawl to: Dawson's On Main and O'Reilly's Irish Pub
Attire: casual chic
$50/per person plated dinner (price includes: meal, room rental + cleaning fee, all applicable State taxes, and gratuity). No payments will be accepted the night of the event. Event registration closes on September 20.

Sunday, September 29 / Open
The Indianapolis Colts host the Oakland Raiders at Lucas Oil Stadium. Kick-off is 1:00pm. CBS will televise the game. Although no official day-of event has been planned, those classmates still in town may want to meet at a local sports bar to watch the game and continue the reunion. Or...we could all go toilet paper Stephen Hollenbeck's house in Irvington!

Your Reunion Committee has negotiated a special room rate at the newly constructed Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis West-Speedway. A block of 10 rooms will be set aside for our out-of-town guests. The rate is $149/night. This greatly reduced rate is exclusively available to our class members from Wednesday, September 25 through Monday, September 30. You MUST book your room by midnight Tuesday, August 27. Afterward, the room rate increases to $189/night. NOTE: the discounted room rate offer has expired.
