LC Tiger Fund

Greetings from a fellow Lewis and Clark grad, Class of 1966.

Several years ago we established an endowment fund for students at Lewis and Clark High School.  Our purpose is to provide on-going financial support of post high school education and student participation in high school activities for current and future students of Lewis and Clark High School.  Our tax exempt endowment fund is managed by the Inland Northwest Community Foundation in Spokane.

Last year we provided financial support for four students to participate in LC's summer strength, speed and endurance program.  This year, on June 3rd we will be awarding a $600 and a $300 post high school scholarship to two deserving LC graduates.  Our efforts are new and modest but our desire is to increase the endowment's ability to improve the lives of LC students.

If you or your class are interested in joining us in this effort please feel free to contact Mark Hussein (Class of 1966) at mjhussein@comcast.net , Dave Eash (Class of 1966) at deash@ewinganderson.com,  or me (Gary Doughty Class of 1966) at doughtyg@Comcast.net, cell 425-923-3383.  Please note, I will be unavailable until the end of May. You may also wish to contact Lewis and Clark High School.  Your calls should be directed to Assistant Vice-Principal Dan Close or the new Principal or Counceling office.  Regarding contributions and questions, they can be referred to PJ Watters, at the Inland Northwest Community Foundation, 618 W Riverside Avenue, Suite 302 Spokane, WA 99201-5102.  Please make the contributions to the Inland Northwest Community Foundation, noting that they are for LC Tiger Fund.  PJ can be reached at pjwatters@inwcf.com.

With your financial help we can grow the LC Tiger Fund endowment so that more LC students can experience the best that LC can offer and achieve their academic goals.

 Sincerely,

Gary Doughty
