What I've done since high school:

Forestry degree SCC, Logger for Weyerhauser Snoqualmie Falls, US Air Force School of Metrology Denver Co., Aerojet Liquid Rocket Company Rancho Cordova Ca Metrologist and Helium Mass spectrometry tech for the Shuttle OMS liquid rocket engine refurbishment program. Metrologist for Raytheon at Fairchild AFB, Restored a 1976 Porsche 930 and a 1946 Willys Jeep. Completely restored my 1929 Craftsman Bungalow. Traveled to Germany to retrace my mother's 1948 escape from East Prussia to West Germany across the iron curtain, Currently, I am historical restoration carpenter working on federal, state and private restoration projects.
