I've moved around a lot! I went to Florida at the end of my junior year where I graduated at the Tangerine Bowl along with over 680 other seniors but I consider Ferris my almamater. I went to college in Rexburg, ID, where I met my husband, Brett. We married in 1984 and lived for the summer in Nyssa, OR, where his family is from. We went back to school then down to Florida where our 1st daughter was born. Our 2nd and 4th daughters were also born in Florida. Daughter #3 was born in Ontario, OR. Our 2 sons were born in Boise, as was our last daughter.
I've worked in several positions and had several businesses. Fast foods and attractions host at Walt Disney World. Retail at Universal Studios Florida. Drove Town Car (like limo without being long). Secretarial temp. Cashier and stocker at Walmart. Built computers for Micron. Prepared taxes for H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt. Inventory auditor for RGIS Inventory Specialists. Businesses: Jafra, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Home & Garden Party, Melaleuca. Currently I have my own income tax practice, KMD Associates.
I still sing and my children are following in enjoying music, too. Karlene is a member of the Treasure Valley Young Artists Concert Choir and Premier Singers. This group has won several competitions, just like the choirs I was in with the same directors. I still play violin and piano and have learned the basics to play the organ.
It will be really fun if we get to come up and see everybody!
