I was lucky to be a "mostly, stay at home mom". I worked part time at several different jobs over the years..... Bank Teller, Direct Sales, Interior Design, Beauty and Color Consultant, Dance Performer, Troupe Leader and Instructor, and Jewelry Design and Sales.
Finally retired from everything about 12 years ago, and am now enjoying being retired full time. Spending more time with family and friends and trying to catch up on life. Traveling in our motor home and spending as much time with family and friends, and on hobbies as possible. Downsizing....it took us a few moves to get it right, but now love life in our 55+ gated community in the valley with small yard with just enough space for my flowers and mini veggie garden. Took up quilting in 2002, and now I'm obsessed. I belong to several different quilting groups and love making quilts for family, and comfort quilts for various local charities.....and especially Quilts of Valor for our beloved service men and women. Thank you all for your service.

Enjoying retirement with my husband and wondering how we fit jobs into our lives. We seem to keep busy with hobbies and looking for all of that spare time we're supposed to have in the "golden years". Of course, our kids and grand kids are all grown up, but we're loving watching our great grandson Silus grow and learn. He just turned 6 in February.

Quilting, Gardening, Reading, RVing, Knitting, Crochet, Calligraphy, and hunting for that vintage treasure at yard/estate sales and antique shops. Would love to get back to a little golfing, but that hasn't happened....yet. Spend too much time on the computer and learning the benefits of my iPhone. Wish we had all of this technology when we were in school!

Favorite place....Hawaii. We love Kauai, but any of the islands will do just fine! We've explored and traveled in the motor home to Canada, Mexico, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Arizona.....our favorite place to spend the winter. We especially like Tucson for most of those months, but do tend to move around a bit with the RV.
Dream trip would be Italy and Greece.......ah, in my dreams. Anyone have a winning lottery ticket they'd like to share? :-)
