Hello there. I haven't talked to anyone from school in quite a while. I kinda clueless as to what's going on around town lately, seein' as how I've been living in Kentucky for the past 16 years (man that seems like ages).
Well I was just wondering how everyone has been doing??

Dan,
Nice to hear from you. I, too, have been away from Springboro for some time. When I visit my folks, my observations are that it is nothing like the town we grew up in. My friends refer to Springboro as "Little Centerville"! I'd be curious to hear from a classmate who still lives in town what their experience has been.
Nice to see the photo of your family, hope to meet them at the reunion.
Be well!
Eric

I've been in Springboro off and on for a year. It is weird. Everything is so different. They have lacrosse as a sport at the high school. How bizzaro!

Yes, our little Springboro certainly isn't now what it was. My parents still live there and when I go I can barely believe it's the same place. At least the good old "K&W" is still there. :-)

Eric,

Great job on this website...pretty cool. You and I have been in touch for awhile, but I haven't talked to many other folks from Springboro. As you know, my folks don't live there anymore so it's been quite a few years since I've seen our little village. Sadly, I won't be able to make it to the reunion as I'll be on the road. Hope you guys have a great time. Take lots of pics. and be sure to get 'em posted up here so I can take a walk down memory lane via the internet. Talk to you soon.

Eric,

OMG!!!!!! You are awesome! Pat and I just listened to your "Simply Beautiful" album on the computer. It was wonderful. I love it! You have great talent. Thank you for all your help with the reunion and creating this website. You have put alot of work into this and it is awesome! (Need I say more?) This is a great way to keep in touch with everyone. The invitations for the reunion are out in the mail. If someone does not receive one, they need to contact one of us ASAP so I can get one out in the mail. Talk to you soon!

Angie :)

Wow, this web site is great. I hope more people put information on here. I'm sure they will, since I just got the letter about the reunion. I haven't been in touch with many people, but it's cool seeing the pictures people have put up, and hearing what people are up to. I'm not sure yet about the reunion. It's at the end of the first week of school down here in Texas, so that could be tough. But the web site is great either way.

Eric, this website obviously took some time to put together. It is pretty awesome and I just wanted to say thanks for helping our class get re-connected. I havent really had any contact with anyone from high school except the occasional off-chance random meeting when I come back there. I left for college and lived around the country and in Germany and then out here to California after college. I'm married now (almost 10 yrs) and still come back to visit my folks and family since they still live there. In fact, my folks still live on the same farm in the outskirts of town.

As far as the reunion goes, unfortunately, I cant make it. I'm looking forward to seeing any/all pictures that get posted and will be checking back to this website for future updates. I'll try to post some pictures in the meantime.

When I finally got married in 2000, we built a house in Springboro. We thought it would be easy to sell when we wanted to move. We're still here 8 years later! The "village" is a city now. The K&W is always packed when it is open! I live in a neighborhood that was a corn field that I drove by when I went to school. My mom still lives in the house where I grew up on Bunnell Hill Rd. When I was a kid, the closest house was about a quarter of a mile down the road. It is surrounded by new homes now! The IGA did finally get remodeled with a beautiful new facade. The laundromat is now a restaurant!

I ran into Ex-principal Vince Ross in Florida 3 years ago. We went to Cincinnati Reds Spring Training in Sarasota, FL. We went to Bradenton to see the Pittsburgh Pirates. I walked up to order a beer and was served by Vince Ross! How weird! He claimed to have remembered me. I wasn't even a bad kid. Jenny Blake and I used to get into fake fights in front of him.

Cathy,
Now that's a surreal story! Vince Ross serving you a beer, amazing! Mr. Ross was such a lively character, I was really saddened to hear of his passing several years ago.
Thanks for sharing.
Eric
