Rusty Myers

I graduated from WSU in 1995 and took my first teaching job at Northeastern Local Schools where I taught 5-12 grade band and HS choir. Lori and I got married in 1997. I started teaching at Urbana HS in 2002. I have been going back to WSU to finish my Master's degree in Music Education and just finished my last class this summer. My wife works at Cedarville University and we just built a house last summer in Cedarville. Noah and Taylor keep us very busy. Noah plays soccer and I am coaching his team again this year. He plays basketball in the winter and loves playing golf with his Dad in the spring and summer!

As many of you know, Colin and I were pretty close in school. Actually, we did everything together. My funniest memory (and one that I still tell frequently) is on the first day of school our Senior year, Colin stood up in front of the choir to welcome them to the group. He was the choir President, as you know. I felt this would be a perfect time to come up behind him and pull down his shorts in front of the class. It must have been the perfect time, because everyone laughed and I still tell the story to this day!
