Tell us all about you (i.e. What do you do for a living, what places have you lived since East Jr, what have you accomplished in life, etc, etc)
I graduated from University of Nebraska after 5 fun-filled years. After college I sold my car and took only what could fit in a back-pack and messed around for three years. I was a licensed white-water rafting guide in Utah and Colorado, guided back-packing trips in Colorado and was a ski-bum in Vail. I worked at a dive shop in Key West for a year, fishing and scuba-diving and back-packed up and down the coast of Brazil for a few months.
I then settled into sales and marketing; working for Coca-cola Enterprises in Houston and Alco-Standard and then started my own business in Hot Springs Arkansas, selling industrial chemicals. I have had the business for over 14 years, now. It was in 9th grade that I knew exactly what I wanted to do because Jamie Gross' dad started in outside sales and branched off with his own company and made a lot of money and had a nice office in his home, which allowed him lots of freedom and time with his family. This is exactly what I have done and I love it!
I then got married a couple of years after starting my business with The Amazing Kelly, my sweetheart I met in St. Louis a year before starting my company.
We now have a family with two beautiful children. I'm still young at heart. I work out everyday, play sports, love boating and fast motorcycles(a few weeks ago I drove my Kawasaki ZRX-1200, with my brother-in-law on his bike, to Oklahoma for my wifes family re-union) but generally I lead a quiet life. When I'm in Little Rock a couple times a week on business, I can't wait to get home and be with Kelly and the kids. I like to still travel but I'm a bit of a home-body. We have a game room and I enjoy shooting pool or throwing darts with friends. I love wrestling on the floor with my son or just hanging at the lake. Teaching little Todd to read last year was one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done! I love when Madison falls asleep while nursing in Kelly's arms and I pop popcorn and the four of us snuggle in on the couch and catch a movie.
We're active at church and I'm singing a song at church I wrote on the guitar, this weekend. Life is good!
