Andrew Mitchell (1994)

Mrs. Searchwell was one of the sweetest human I ever met. She was a great friend of my family (her husband taught my father Zedekiah Mitchell at Beckford and Smith now known as St. Jago High School).  I remembered her professional handling of a class matter during her short stint as principal between 1990 and 1991. She would walk the C block and try to shout "children get off the corridor". Her voice wa so soft that shouting was almost impossible. Great woman and may her soul rest in peace.
