Bob, are you implying my story stinks? Also, I'm not sure if I helped create something useful (Nine patents for the  Toilet by Thomas Crapper) I would want you referencing my Name, calling anything nasty, "Fraz."  sad

Bob, that was joking too! Hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather.

With all the military in our class! Which football team gets the nod today, Army or Navy?

I came across this highly festive toilet paper. I find the idea of such up close, personal, and just plain TMI surveillance rather disturbing, either from the sense of a big brother conspiracy theory, or that it is just plain creepy. The "elf on a shelf" was bad enough

I came accross this meme, and it seemed to perfectly describe the sentiments of our class this year.  I also added this as the last page to our reunion album.

Steve, that is why when we age, we want to and start to buy time. Have any for sale?

12/27/24 05:38 PM #2660

Steve Hardy

Dave,

There was a TZ episode where a man had the ability to trade his situation, including his health and age, for that of other people.  He used this power to become rich, and then he bought years of life from younger men.

The last thing he traded for was the kind and gentle spirit of the father of the women he wanted to marry.  Everything seemed to go ok, until the would-be father-in-law, now bearing the bitter spirit of the younger man, shot him.

Another cautionary tale from Rod Serling.

David Frazer

So, does that mean you do have time for sale? I'm in the market.

12/28/24 08:51 PM #2662

Steve Hardy

Dave,

I feel I should keep the time I have left.  So I won't be selling any.

Wishing everyone a Happy, Healthy and safe New Year! Also, a very happy birthday to all the January classmates!Remember to those ice fishing, that the only safe ice is in a glass! It sounds like the snowbirds are getting a little colder blast. Get your winter gear on when it's only 50-60 degrees down there!

01/05/25 04:34 PM #2666

Steve Hardy

Bob,

As for your jab at "snowbirds", I'll have have you know that we are subject to some sever winter weather down here in the south!  Take a look at the carnage from our snowstorm of last January!  surprise

Speaking of snow... and snow birds :). I was thinking about going to Arizona for Monday's game; stay with classmate Kevin Noonan; however, Cardinal fans and Ram fans have been buying the tickets to resell to Vikings fans (so said the news tonight). I hope there is a lot of Vikings fans there. Does anyone plan on attending the big game?

01/14/25 08:52 AM #2668

Robert Ayre

Steve, ha! You call that carnage, there isn't enough snow there to pull a sled! Not even enough for a snowman, snow ball fight....
We a
re of course are in our deep freeze mode now.
With temps below zero and frostbite wind chills.
Just like our Vikings froze last night. Disappointed by the last wo performances. Just a game of entertainment. Oh well! Hoping everyone stays warm, healthy and safe.

Dave , I think there is a number of our classmates down in Arizona and I'm sure manh would have extended their kindness to you.
Maybe yoj should still go there and play lizard in the sun. Take care and I'm glad your arm is healed(shoulder).

Thanks Bob! I tell these cheese heads that if you are a Christian; you have to be a Vikings' fan. The Packer fans get upset; but they laugh after explaining. The Vikings teach you about loyalty, perseverance, and hope when there isn't any or none.

Dave, you said if I'm a Christian I have to be a Vikings fan.. I'll accept that..

I suppose it's not exactly like the Jews and the promised land..

Thanks Steve(s). I remember Steve John Bovee. And Coach Houdek I last saw in the 90's when I was training for another Marathon and we jumped over the fence to run on the track. He said he was working the golf course so he could golf free.

Sitting in the chair, waiting to go snowblow the driveway and thought: We're so sorry, Uncle Albert
But we haven't done a bloody thing all day, We're so sorry, Uncle Albert,
But the kettle's on the boil, And we're so easily called away

Strange the music that goes through our heads without much prompting... hope you are enjoying February!
