Steve, I'm in for something tropical; like Bob's boiled shrimp. Back to the cold weather.

02/11/25 06:24 PM #2680

Steven Kaufhold

man the cold is terrible.. I think I was born in Florida and smuggled into Minnesota..

and Dave, did you hear? Admiral Halsey notified me. He had to have a berth or he couldn't get to sleep.

02/12/25 08:01 AM #2681

David Frazer

Steve, is he really an admiral? Someone just showed me a Geneva Convention Card from an online suitor. Said he was a captain, at pay grade of an E7. When challenged, he said he was special Ops undercover. So, don't trust this Admiral Halsey guy. wink

02/12/25 10:00 AM #2682

Steve Hardy

Steve,

Did the good admiral find a berth in Perth? And was he full of myrth upon finding a berth? So what was it worth?  Did he have to move Heaven and Earth?

Well then the Admiral said, "don't you see? You must hear my plea. I desperately need some tea. I'm even willing to pay the fee.

02/12/25 08:12 PM #2684

Steven Bilderback

I heard he had a spot of tea and a butter pie.

02/14/25 07:20 PM #2685

David Frazer

I'm still confused. Who is this Admiral? Must be British if he loves Tea.

Hey, what happened to the 7 day post rule? I posted. No one responds. i'm not paranoid, but my Cuckoo clock say, "Trouble, Trouble, Trouble."

Dave, we are waiting for your first clue as to where you've hidden your millions in cash.

02/25/25 09:51 AM #2688

David Frazer

Steve, my brother says almost everyone is a millionaire nowadays.I'm not though. I do have a friend who wants to yell at me politics and complains about all these millionaires in a certain party (not his party). By the way, later he will brag that he has over a million, himself. How does that Pink Floyd song go? "Money, get away / Get a good job with more pay, and you're okay / Money, it's a gas / Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash / New car, caviar, four-star daydream...

Wel l, there is a standard for me and different standards I use for everybody else. I know what's best for "Those people".

As long as I have mine...

02/27/25 12:48 AM #2690

Steven Bilderback

And Dave, your million dollar smile is all you need. 😊

02/27/25 10:20 PM #2691

David Frazer

Wow, Steve that is nice! But, just asking, is the wind tomorrow (maybe up to 60 MPH winds) from hot air? A million dollar smile.... my tooth isn't evenangel shiny.

02/28/25 10:22 AM #2692

Robert Ayre

You are a millionaire in two ways ,one by a monetary measure and the other which is more priceless than a millionaire and that is good health, someone to love and being loved.
That is the only thing we take with us and leave behind the many memories. So, your music quote Dave would be from Mick Jagger, " make a lot of money but you just want more!"
Wishing all the classmates with a birthday in March, a very happy birthday!

Good one’s guys. Bob, I haven't heard Grandpa Mick in a long time. I'm wondering, what is anyone planning for fun this year? I'm planning on going out to eat with Steve B., his treat! Life is so simple for me now. I went to the new Carbone's restaurant in Roberts, Wisconsin. The pizza tasted just like the original pizza at  the restaurant in St. Paul Park.

Steven Bilderback

Dave, I'll be in Mississippi for a few more weeks, ya'll come on down and I'll treat you to some grits and gravy, or a craw-fish dinner if you'd like. Bring your darling wife, she can bring us cool refreshing beverages as we lounge at the beach.

03/02/25 06:52 PM #2695

David Frazer

Steve, are you out of your mind? We would be waiting on Princess Sue. She would not be serving us, trust me. Oops, I have to run and get her food ready. angry

03/02/25 09:23 PM #2696

Robert Ayre

Dave, I think you just kept the left over pizza from the carbonnes at our reunion! Ha! We'll Dave i guess we are all servants to someone.
I have a fish fry dinner coming up at church that I help in clearing plates and serving coffee and beverages. I enjoy helping and providing some entertainment while doing so.
I'm sure many of our classmates help with different events or provide help to others in many ways. So, ask Sue to help bring some drinks down to the beach for you and Steve. 😃

David Frazer

Bob, I can see you making people smile as you tease and talk with people as you clean and serve tables. Today will be 51 degrees. The dogs might walk Sue and I. Life is good!

03/04/25 10:31 AM #2698

Robert Ayre

Dave, is that " walking the dog" with a yo-yo?
And then the string broke. Sometimes I see someone walking there dog on a leash and I yell HEY! THAT DOG IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON A LEASH! and they reply it is! And I say "I WAS TALKING TO THE DOG! HA!
Yes get out while you can before the snow.
Take care and get to Mississippi to visit Steve B.

Bob, I don't know about you but my humor (which never was real funny) is suspect with the young people. They look at me like I'm crazy. An example: I went to the lumber yard in Spooner a few years ago and bought some boards for my martial arts class (I bought just regular wood instead of paying for special wood). While I'm waiting I told the young man; "Did you hear about Ole and Sven going to the lumberyard? Ole says, I want to buy 50 2x4's. The man behind the counter said, "How long?"  Ole answered, "Quite a while you know, I'm building a garage." The young man just stared at me.  Ooops.

So, did everyone go to a new website or is life going to fast we don't have time to post?

03/22/25 02:36 PM #2701

Steve Hardy

Dave,

I guess you had us all dazzled by your wit and wisdom.

btw, I hope everyone enjoyed a memorable vernal equinox this past Thursday.

Has the migration begun yet? Are the winter snowbirds heading back north here to their second homes/cabins, etc. It's starting to warm up 40's,50's and even 60's. Do we attempt to try and get together this summer? Picnic, river cruise, boating...
I passed on all the reunion stuff to Tom and Louise for our 55 year reunion. They are very excited in putting it together. I thank you all for having allowed me to put the last two together with some great help! Happy Birthday to all those celebrating in April. All the very best! Wishing everyone as always good health.

Steven Bilderback

Well Robert, I'll be heading back to Wisconsin as soon as you turn that thermostat up another 10 degrees or so.
Actually I should be back this weekend to help teach Dave F the best ways to pamper his darling bride.
It will be hard to leave the sunny, mid 70s, and blue skies here but the humid 90s are on there way.
Plus my canoe is calling me...
And Dave needs me to buy him lunch!
