When I checked the Go Fund Me page for Marvin, I came upon the following message.  Does anyone have contact with Beth Moeller?  Being the organizer, she can resolve the issue.

Donations paused

Our team has contacted the organizer with a solution, and donations will resume once the issue is resolved.

How can I help?

Please reach out to the organizer and ask them to sign in to GoFundMe and check their account to resolve the issue.

Beth Moeller is organizing this fundraiser.

Happy Holiday season to all!  May you all be blessed with a new year of good health, peace, joy, adventure , hope and happiness.  I don't post very often but I do love reading your comments and staying abreast of how you are doing.  Hopefully 2022 will be a good and kind year to us all.

As I did last year, I'll be driving for a group of party animals this New Year's Eve.  I enjoy driving a party bus, and I am happy to be providing a safe ride for those celebrating their special events.  Have a great New Year, be safe and be well!

Steve, were you safe last night? Hoping you would have driven to the township of Lincoln (2 miles north of Amery) to see us. Hope everyone has the best year in 2022. Make sure you ignore the solylent Green reference to 2022 (the year the movie takes place). winkPraying a blessing on everyone, no matter what are situation(s).

The night went well.  I got to bed at 6am.  The group was a very good natured bunch of people, and they tipped well.  One guy "overdid it" a little, but the group's leader made sure he didn't get too obnoxious or throw up, except into a garbage bag.  They even took all the garbage off the bus so that I didn't have to clean up!

Dave, after seeing Soylent Green, I bet some kids never got over when their mothers told them to "Eat your greens!"

Sad news to report.  I just talked to my older brother Bill Kroschel (former Park teacher) and he informaed that he just learned that Darrell Amacker passed away on new Years Eve.  No details other than that.  Services to be held in the spring.  I had not seen Darrell in 20 years, maybe more, but remember him as being just a nice guy.  From my perpective, it is one more Park baseball player leaving us too early.  RIP Darrell.

Dennis -- so very sorry for your loss. Sheryl and I were childhood friends way back in the early 60's when our families lived a few doors apart on Fir Avenue in Thompson Grove.

So sorry to learn of these losses. I knew Sheryl's brother Steve from his sponsorship of SEMS swim team and Mutual of Omaha. We connected even more when we realized the Cottage Grove part. He spoke highly of his baseball friends. It was sad to see his passing in 2018. Too soon for all.

My very sincere condolences to the families and friends of the loved ones lost. Too many too soon but knowing all are in God's care and the love of their family and friends whom are with them now. Cherish the memories. I wish all HAPPY New Year. Let's get together in the summer, by then my igloo will be melted and I can come out of my bear den.

Words seem so empty, but we try to express our sadness at your sorrow. I was a Chaplain for ten years at a funeral home and I would almost always use the scripture from 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4, verse 13 to the end of the Chapter. "Comfort one another with these words." The only words that caused people to shout embarrasing praise for the message of hope. I would always remind the listeners, Jesus loved the person even more than we do. We often forget how much God is rooting for us. I'm sorry for the loss of classmates and loved ones. We are now in the times of our life when we will be surrounded by peers passing on.

Sue's birthday card. Driving home on her birthday, at night, her van's engine started knocking and she barely made it into the drive way, Then in the house the dogs were acting strange, wanting her to go down in the basement. Our pressure gauge blew off the tank and flooded the whole basement with four inches of well water. To quote a 1962 Wagon Trail episode with Nancy Reagan in it, "... and you have to learn to laugh at the bad times." I want everyone of you to be blessed!

Wow Dave and those 2 women were only 20 years old in that picture but went to Park. I've been told many times to take a long walk on a short pier. I didnt know you were rich in having a "van gogh",and to have your own swimming pool in your basement. At least it is "well"water, and not sick water. Your own baptism fountain in you basement. Hmm. Are you going to invite us to your water park?

Thanks Bob! I chuckled. Don't tell anyone, but I do like your puns. I will probably get yelled at for encouraging your sharing the chuckles. By the way, has Geico asked you to be in the commercials; when they start showing the "Parents" that the people are becoming? Bob, I welcome everyone to visit, you don't have to bring your tools either!

Ha,Dave it is a good commercial. Tools?
The only tools my dad taught me was glue, tape and a persuader (hammer).
I never followed him in the lawn mowing outfits either. The shorts with the high black socks and cigar.
Stay warm!

Unfortunately we have lost another classmate. Gordy House passed away suddenly over the weekend. There are no details at this time. I hope everyone is taking good care of themselves!

Thanks Connie!  Sorry about his death. Do you know if Gordy had a large family? I'll be praying for family and friends. I always enjoyed talking with him!

He was very close to his family. He didn't sign in for a family FaceTime session and his nephew went to check on him. He is the one that found him. His sister lived on one side of him and his brother on the other side.
