When people look older than you and they are actually younger, it makes me wonder how old I look (which also reminds me to keep my picture up to date to show the new wrinkles). Now, I look and make a mental note of the ages when looking at the obituaries. It is sad when we lose another one of our classmates.

Dave you don't look a day over 70!! I'm just teasing but couldn't pass up the opportunity! I do agree tho on updating our photos to see those new wrinkles the year brought us.

Karen, is 70 our new milestone (except, of course, our 50th class reunion). The excitement for Sue and I is the plumber coming this afternoon to fix a problem. We are excited just to get someone to come and promise to fix it! Anyone play pirate and look for the St. Paul Winter Carnival treasure? Aaarrrg, matey. Next year I am planing on having my grandchildren dress up as a pirate and look (just for a few hours). Blessings on you ALL!

Hi everyone!
I haven't received notification from this site in a long time now, all my notification setting are turned on.
Is there anyone else that's not seeing notifications?
I hope everyone is doing well and maybe someone is planning a summer group activity this year with the diminished threat of our Covid friend.

Hello, I hope all is well!  I am posting this on behalf of Toni(Heller)Brush, as she has attempted to let her classmates know, but because of her grief has not been to complete a post. This is what Toni wanted her class mates to know. "My husband, Lynn Brush, the love of my life, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.  He has also suffered a heart attack and two strokes since that diagnosis." We are asking the Class mates of 74' to include them in your prayers during this difficult time in their lives.  He will be starting chemo and radiation therapy soon, in hopes that it will slow the progression of the cancer. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Toni, I am praying for Lynn, you, and the family. These are the times that seem to try our hearts; yet, it encourages me when I see classmates respond with prayers. Add my prayers to others for Lynn!

Thank you Yvette for posting Toni's information. As always our classmates will come together in prayers. All the very best for his recovery.

Mark, I think it is time for you to post another of your verse, a rendition to "where have all the flowers going."  I just realized my friend Steve is really moving to Alabama. What did I do to make him and Julie move to the deep south? How is everyone doing?

02/28/22 11:23 PM #2018

Steve Hardy

Dave,

I was going to save some space for you and the family in our PODS storage unit, so you could move down there with us, but there won't be enough room.  Sorry.

I'm gonna have to start practicing singing "Sweet Home Alabama".  Rumor has it that anyone who wishes to take up residence there must perform an acceptable rendition of that song.

We're so sorry Uncle Albert..
But we're asking,
where have all the flowers gone?
Where have all the classmates gone?
We the members of this graduating class,
Will try to hold on to the memories we amass..
As we keep on doing it with class..

Two Steves. One with poetic class, one with a retracted invitation. Wonder, how to respond... Oooh ooh Alabama, banjos picking through a broken pane, oooh, class reunion... all invited to Bob's house for steak, lobster, and shrimp... ooooh.....

Where in Alabama are you heading? Need to know when to stay off the roadway?? We are in Northern Alabama. At least that's where the house is.
