Arthur Leroy Jenkins, loving husband, father, grandfather, and pet parent passed away early morning on July 17th, 2020.
Arthur was survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan Ann Jenkins, children, Christopher Aubrey Jenkins (Becca Jenkins) and Kelly Heather Jenkins-Barto (Duane Barto), and grandchildren, Haley Marie Jenkins, Maegan Elizabeth Hamilton, Celeste Lee Jenkins, Summer Nicole Roberts, Alexis Rose Hamilton, Trent Andrew Jenkins and Justin Jared Arthur Barto, great grandchildren Van and Leo Hamilton and siblings Andrew Kenneth Jenkins and Susan
Arthur was born on March 22, 1949 in Methuen, Massachutes to Edith and Arthur F. Jenkins. He moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida as a child. He worked as a mason with his father’s business during his summers. After high school he married his high school sweetheart Susan Ann Jenkins January 11, 1969.
During their honeymoon he was called to active duty in the US Navy aboard the USS La Salle (LPD-3) as an Electrician and served until 1978 traveling the world and serving his Country.
After returning from active duty he began a career for the United Parcel Service as a delivery driver and supervisor. After leaving UPS he was the owner of Pac N Send in Saint Petersburg, Florida in the packing and shipping industry.
After retirement he relocated to Weeki Wachee , Florida with his wife. During retirement he coached little league, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, and enjoyed time with his family, taking care of his grandchildren and was very passionate about his rescue fur-babies. He was always so proud of his son and daughter.
He has now joined his parents Edith and Arthur Jenkins and his sister Beverly Hughes in heaven.

Art and I go back to elementary school at Clearview and went to Lealman Junior and Northeast Senior together. We were in the same Boy Scout troop, played on the same little league team, played in the band, and lived just a couple of blocks apart. I last talked with him in March of this year.

I miss you dear friend but rejoice in knowing you are with our Lord.
