Mario Perry

PERRY, Mario J. BDITKU of St. Petersburg, passed away Oct. 19, 2010. Born in Newark, NJ in 1949, Mario is a 1967 graduate of Northeast High School. He received his B.S. in Engineering from the University of Florida and his Masters in Business and International Finance from the University of Chicago. Mario's 40 year career in Communications and System Engineering included executive positions at AT&T, AT&T International, and Pacific Telesis. Mario was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of several start-up businesses, including International Communications Resources, Internet Support Systems, CityNet ONE, and Conservation Energy. He was also Owner of Courthouse Square in St. Petersburg. Fluent in 5 different languages, Mario's favorite assignment was Vice President of Pacific Telesis International, where he established and managed offices in England, Spain, Japan, China, and Malaysia. He is survived by loving family wife Cheryl; daughter Marisa of New York; son and fellow Gator Michael. Preceded in death by parents, Mario and Aurora. Funeral services will be held at Brett Funeral Home at 2 pm on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, followed by a reception at the family home.
