GIBSON, WILLIAM A. "BILL," 84, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (Dec. 7, 2003) at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena. He was born in Orange, N.J., and moved here in 1964 from Langley, Va. He was an Air Force veteran and served in World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He worked overseas for General Motors and co-founded a wholesale poultry business near New Smyrna Beach and taught at Northeast High School in St. Petersburg. His military assignments included director of materiel for the 314th Troop Carrier Wing at Sewart AFB, Tenn., and European Command, Paris. He attended Calvary Episcopal Church in Indian Rocks Beach. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; two sons, Colon, Clearwater, and Michael, DeBary; a brother, John, Redington Beach; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Beach Memorial Chapel, St. Pete Beach.
