Gee, Darlene D. (White), 68, of Fruit Heights, UT, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023. She was born in St. Petersburg, FL where she was a 1972 graduate of Northeast High School. She attended FL Southern College in Lakeland, FL, St. Petersburg Jr. College, and graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Miami with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. After her marriage to Lt. Col. Frank Gee, USAF (ret), in 1976, she lived in Germany, Norway, Homestead, FL, Sebring, FL, Navarre, FL, and Utah. Her careers during those years included telephone companies customer service, banking, English translator at the embassy in Norway, and retired as a Flight Operations Technician with Sky West/Delta airlines. In addition to her husband of 46 years, she is survived by her devoted nephew (son), Elliott (Eve) Gee of Salt Lake City, UT, sisters, Dolly (Dale) Gunter of St. Petersburg, FL, Elaine Lightkep of Tyrone, GA, three grandsons, Ian, Griffin, and Kieran Gee, nieces and nephews, Debbie Byrne Denise Quigley, Daniel Gunter, Ricky Lightkep, Tracy Keen, Eric Lightkep, Heather Walters, Amy Walters, innumerable cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, James R. and Delores E. White. Darlene donated her body to the University Of Utah Body Donor Program for medical research.
