Comments:

I graduated from University of Florida with a degree in Business/Marketing. Go Gators!!!!!
I got married twice to my husband, Abraham in 1996. First, in Morrocco, his homeland, and then in my Church in downtown St. Pete. We have two children; our son Kalil(6) and Leila(almost 4). I was pregnant with her at our 20 year reunion. We lived in Tampa and St. Pete for years and now we are in Dubai. My husband's family has lived between here and Morrocco for almost 20 years. It's a pretty cool place- the land of make-believe. I'm not sure how long we will be here, but we will be visiting the U.S. often.

School Story:

I remember my first airplane flight was to Dallas for the National Cheerleading Competition. I asked our sponsor, Ms. Diane Duke, "Is there a chef on board?"

I remember when my twin sister, Karen and I got our driver's licenses on our 16th Birthday and we took Mom's car that night to a NEHI dance in the Gym. I hit Becky Turner's(class of '83) car pulling into the parking spot. Karen hit Richard & Glen Haights' parent's car pulling out to go home. We were called the crash twins, especially by Casey Wood and Scott Demburger.

I remember my Freshman year in PE class and I was waiting for my turn to bat in softball. My waiting place was not too smart, because I was sitting on the chain link fence, so when I jumped down my shorts stayed on the fence. There I was in my underwear. My Coach gave me his newspaper to cover up. How nice of him. Two or three friends walked me back to the locker room. I think it was Jennifer Merrimen, Jennifer Sucher & Beck Turner(class of '84). Big thanks to them. I know Bob Damron was there, because he was our class assistant. I'm pretty sure alot of people witnessed it. I know Coach Jenkins remembers, because I saw him years after we graduated, he reminded me. Also, "Chop"(John Glonek) saw it, because I had to cheer at NEHI JV football game that night and he called me "the flasher" from the stands.

I remember Marshall and Rhett Steven's always had the best parties and their parent's house. Those were the days!!!!!!

I remember the infamous NEHI vs. St. Pete Varsity football game when we stopped at McDonalds and got some soft drinks to spike with our school battlecry(b-a-c-a-r-d-i) to give us that extra edge. I still managed to get Kathy Hively on my shoulders without too much difficulty. The picture of this mount is in the front pages of the 1984 yearbook, I believe.

There are so many great memories. I will add more later.

I'm back- I also remember Mr. Blessing's Latin class. What a blast we had! The list of characters were: Kirby as Aurelia, my twin Karen as Wictoria, Barry Ferguson as Felix, Dan Diaco as Decamus and Tammy Richardson as Octavia(I'm pretty sure.) We had some fun in that class.
