MIDDLETON - Mary Ann (Mammone) Lee, age 83, of Buttermilk Lane in Middleton, died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Colonial Hill in Rochester. Born June 6, 1933 in Stamford, Connecticut, a daughter of Joseph and Rose (Magnotta) Mammone, she was a graduate of Bullard-Havens Regional-Vocational-Technical School, Bridgeport, Conn., in 1960, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, in Conn., Fla., and N.H.

Married to Perley Lee in 1967, they moved to Middleton, N.H., in 1972.

Her activities included Order of the Eastern Star and Sons of Italy.

Mary worked hard and tirelessly to raise money for the Navy Memorial at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

Predeceased by her husband Perley Lee in 2006, also her parents, sister Emily Pikikero and brother Bruno Mammone.

Survived by her brother John and wife Ruthann Mammone, sister Josephine LaChapelle, also many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Interment will be Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Cemetery on Lowell Street in Rochester, N.H., with Fr. Thomas Duston, pastor, as celebrant.
