Joan J. Buzzeo Leffler passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017 at the age of 83. She had been a resident of Stamford who worked and retired from the banking industry. She was born in Stamford, CT on April 13, 1933 to the late Theresa Terenzio Buzzeo and Angelo Buzzeo. Joan was predeceased by her brothers Luis P. Buzzeo and Eugene M. Buzzeo. Joan is survived by her twins Scott Leffler and Dawn Lionetti; her four grandchildren Rebecca and Melanie Leffler and Teddy and Mark Lionetti; her sister Gloria DeCarlo; her 2 nephews Daniel Buzzeo and Michael Buzzeo; her sister-in-law Grace Buzzeo and her two cousins Beatrice Pelazza and Elanore Smith. A Mass to celebrate the life of Joan Buzzeo Leffler will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902.
